I managed to get Tyler's number, though it took copious amounts of bickering and debating. Now I was sat in my bright room, flipping a coin on whether or not I should text him. Instead, my phone dinged, momentarily startling me.

Tyler
- i know i said you were never allowed back to the tree house, but you get one more visit.
- so hurry up.

I smirked, running over to my dresser and pulling on a white t-shirt over my bright red sports bra. It was a matter a time before he invited me back, and I was waiting for that invitation.

"Dad, I'm going out to explore for a little bit!"

"Que no se te olvide que no puedes ir al bosque."

(translation - "Don't forget that you can't go to the forest.")

"Yes, yes, I know. I'll be back later!" I rolled my eyes as I swiftly shut the front door, looking around before making my way through the broken fence behind my large Victorian house.

There, I found Tyler along with a slightly shorter boy, the two of them staring up at the sky. The shorter boy noticed me first, visibly tensing before Tyler made eye contact and smiled at me, his hostility having died out after we left the tree house last night.

"Aria, hey. I brought a friend. His name's Josh. Josh, this is Aria." I winked at him, shifting my attention from Josh to Tyler.

"Now, you wanted me back to the tree house, I heard."

"Wha-Tyler, you took her to the tree house?" Josh's voice portrayed hurt and denial, the soft gaze he had turning into a harsh glare as he turned towards me.

"Josh, I know. It was rude of me to bring a stranger to our place, but it isn't the end of the the world! It was just her, I promise." Josh didn't seem convinved by Tyler's claim, instead settling on shoving past me and treading through the forest ahead of us.

"Didn't realise someone could be so bitchy about something so small." I muttered, Tyler offering a small shrug before following suit.

"All I can say is sorry about his attitude. But that's what you get when you mess with an artist's property, you could say."
