A war is brewing, but not a war we are familiar with. It's not one recorded in the history books. It was kept as a secret. The war between human kind and Isu was important. Maybe if we settled our differences, we could've saved the world. Maybe if we worked together, they would still be living among us. After the world was struck, very few of their kind survive. They soon died out, and so did their legacy. We have forgotten all about the first civilization and now refer to them as gods.

The Isu created humans to work, to survive, and that's exactly what we did. Now that they're gone, they've left behind artifacts called the Pieces of Eden. They used them to maintain control over the human race, but now it's left for us to discover. If it falls into the wrong hands, the world will suffer. People will be enslaved, just like they were in the Isu Era.

Luckily, not just anyone can get their hands on the powerful artifacts. They were all hidden and locked away, but at this point many have been discovered. Some of which, have fallen into the wrong hands, the Templars. They have the upper hand in this race against the Assassins. The Templars have the advanced technology, the vast resources, and connections that stretch across the globe. The Assassins are still trying to catch up; they're low in numbers. To have a chance of winning this race, the Assassins would need something important, something special. They would need a powerful artifact. They would need a powerful person. Only then, would the Assassins actually have a chance in catching up the Templars in this war.

Times are beginning to change. Someone will get the upper hand. Someone will come out on top. Only one will win. The question is, will it be for the better?

Hey guys! This is a different book that I have been wanting to write for a while now. I've never written a fanfic before, but I have read a ton. I thought I would give it a try. This fanfic isn't like most where you follow a specific storyline from the game. This one is more of a story based in the same universe. It will have a lot of the first civilization mentioned in it.

For those of you who have never heard of, or played, Assassin's Creed, feel free to ask any questions if you are lost. I tried to make this book where anyone could read it, but I'm not sure how well I did with that. Hopefully this little intro will help.
