1 WEEK LATER

Normal POV

I was going back to court today and I honestly, I couldn't wait for it to be all over and done with now. Turns out that Kim found out that I had given birth to the twins and demanded that the court case be restarted again.

I sat outside the court room with Lisa, Tina and my lawyers. Joe wasn't able to come today as he had an early kick-off with a football game today, so it left his parents to look after the children while I went to court.

"Mia, we'll get her today. Don't worry," Tina assured me as the doors opened for us to go in.

I looked at Kim walk into the court room with her lawyers as I stood up. I straightened my red blouse and black blazer out before following my lawyers into the room.

"You're late, Miss. Halliwell." The judge informed blankly as I took my seat.

"Miss. Halliwell needed a few moments before we started," one of lawyers defended before we sat down.

I looked over at Kim who was smiling away to herself. I shook my head and looked forward.

"Mr. Andrews, would you like to start?" The judge asked one of my lawyers.

My lawyer stood up and looked down at his files that he sat on the desk before moving to stand in front of the desk.

"I call Miss. Anna Halliwell to the stand," he announced, looking back at my big sister.

Anna stood up without hesitation and made her way to the stand. A police officer walked over to her and she rested her hand on the bible he held out.

"Do you swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth?"

"I do," she answered.

The police officer nods and moves away to the side before I sat forward and watched her carefully.

"Miss. Halliwell, you are Mia's oldest sister, am I correct?"

"Yes, that's correct."

"Am I right in saying that it was at your night club opening, Mia met Miss. Crew for the first time?"

"It was the first time that we all met her. She took a sudden dislike to Mia as soon as she saw her."

"Would you say that Miss. Crew singled Mia out as one to go after?"

"I would. There must have been something in it if she started to...I would say, annoy Mia."

"Did Miss. Crew's lawyer come to your night club, mainly to you, and ask for the CCTV footage from that night?"

"Come to think of it, no. No one came to me or any of the workers asking for any CCTV footage," she stated while looking at Kim.

I looked over at Kim and her lawyer and saw that they were looking a little edgy. I smiled to myself and turned back to look at Anna.

"Huh, then I wonder how Miss. Crew and her lawyer managed to get a hold of some footage," my lawyer muttered, looking round to face Kim and her lawyer.

"Mr. Stevenson, you have to answer that." The judge instructed, looking at Kim's lawyer.

"Ob...objection." He stuttered.

"Overruled!" The judge said simply. He turned back to my lawyer d nodded, "Continue."

Mr. Andrews turned to the jury, clasping his hands together behind his back. "How can any of the evidence that Mr. Stevenson gives to the court, be seen as true? He didn't approach Miss. Anna Halliwell for the evidence, so who are you going to believe? The lawyer or the owner of the night club that says she has never been approached to get the CCTV footage? I rest my case."
