I wake up at 9:30am the next day and turn round to face Joe. As I turn, I take note that he had been up earlier and brought Emery into the room because she was laying on his chest, sleeping soundly. I smile to myself before getting up out the bed and going to having a shower.

I come out the en-suite 15 minutes later and walk straight into my walk-in wardrobe to get ready for the day. I pick out my black skinny jeans, white blouse and black Louboutin heels. I get ready quickly and walk back out into the bedroom and start to do my hair.

I just finish my hair when I look in the mirror of the dressing table and spot Emery looking at me as Joe slept. I turn round and look at her and smile before standing up and walking over to the bed. I stand by the side of the bed and she looks up at me.

"Coming with me, darling?" I whisper.

She continues to look at me and I pick her up out of Joe's arms. I hold her close and she puts her head on my shoulder and walk out the bedroom. I walk along to her bedroom and got her changed for the day.

I walk out her room 30 minutes later, happy with her in a pair of jeans and a light pink top. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen.

I look at Connor and Matthew sitting at the breakfast bar and hand Emery over to them.

"Is dad still sleeping?" Connor asks me.

"Yeah, he should be up soon though once he notices that I've..." I start.

"Mia, have you got..." Joe shouts.

"See? Yes!"

I put my heels on and look at Odette as she comes into the kitchen.

"I don't feel too good," she groans, leaning on the counter.

"You are such a bad liar," Matthew points out to her.

"I don't though," she snaps at him.

"If this is your way of trying to get out of looking after your little sister, forget it." I walk past her and pick my bag and jacket up that sat on the table behind the boys.

I put my jacket on and put my bag over my shoulder before turning my attention back to the children.

"I'll see you all soon. Have fun down in London," I smile, giving Matthew and Connor a kiss on their cheeks. I turn to Odette and sigh. "And you, take care of your sister till I get back."

I kiss Emery's head and walk out the room.

Odette's POV

I hear the front door slam shut and look at my brothers. Connor stands up and walks over to me with Emery.

"Take care of her or else," he says, handing her over to me.

"Wait a minute, dad isn't even..." I start.

"Boys, move it or we'll be late." My dad shouts from the hall.

I follow my brothers into the hall and watch them pick up their bags and head out the front door. I look down at Emery in my arms and she looks up at me with her green eyes.

"What?" I ask her.

"Ma..." She says quietly.

"Oh, who cares!" I shout before carrying her into the living room.

I sit her on the floor and walk out into the hall to get my shoes and jacket on. I pick up Emery's jacket and boots and carry them back into the living room. I flop down on the nearest couch and she looks up at me.

"Come on, I want to go out shopping." I tell to her.

She stands up and waddles over to me. I pick her up and put her shoes and jacket on before I stood up with her up in my arms. I walk over to the fireplace and pick up my bank card that was lying there and put it in my pocket before walking out the house.

I'd been walking about Manchester with Emery for about an hour when she started to get fussy. I didn't bring her pram with me cause I didn't want to push it about in this cold weather.

I walk into Selfridges with her and start to look at some of the clothes. I put Emery down on the ground so she can walk next to me while I pick out some clothes to try on.

An hour later, and I had picked out a lot of items. I take a hold of Emery's hand as we walk towards the changing rooms. I sit her down on one of the seats outside my changing room as I try on my clothes.

Half an hour later, I had tried on my clothes and was now paying for them. I look at the guy that was serving me and smile at him.

"Is that your little sister?" he asks, looking over the counter at Emery.

"Yeah. My mum's making me watch her for the day," I reply to him.

"That's nice that she trusts you," he smiles, starting to put my stuff in bags.

"Od..." I hear Emery say.

I look down at her as she looks up at me. "What?"

"Cookie," she smiles.

"No, I'm not going to buy you any cookies."

"Cookie."

I look at the guy and said excuse myself before bent down to Emery's level and look at her. "Look, you know that I ain't gonna buy you anything. I know that I ain't gonna buy you anything, so why don't you just shut up!"

I stand back up and look at the guy. He hands my bank card back and gives me my bags. I smile at him before turning to walk away.

"Emery, come on." I instruct before walking out the shop.

When outside the shop, I walk along the street for a few minutes and stop. I turn round and look down. Where the hell is Emery? I look around the street to see if I could see her but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Emery!" I shout. I start walking back towards Selfridges to see if she was still in there but she wasn't.

I walk back out and run my hand through my hair as I start to grow more and more worried by every passing second. Where the hell is she?
