I got changed into my white bikini and put on the matching white kaftan over the top. I slid my white flip-flops onto my feet and picked up my bag. Joe was nowhere about, so why should I waste my day on him if he was in a mood? I walked out the bedroom and down the stairs.

I put my sunglasses on over my eyes as I reached the back door. I didn't want to go out the front door because if Joe was there, he'd see me leave to go to the beach instead of trying to sort things out with him. I walked round the house and down to the beach.

I sat my stuff down on the sand and took my kaftan off, putting it in my bag before taking out a beach towel and placing it down on the sand. I sat down on it and took my flip-flops off and put them next to my bag. I looked out at the water and saw a boat sitting in the distance. I shook my head and looked round the beach.

It was so peaceful and I would've been sitting here with Joe if it wasn't for this morning. I know I can be moody at times and Joe just takes it, but this was different. This is the first time that Joe has actually gotten so angry to a point where he has physically hurt himself because of it. It made me worry a little but at the same time, I knew that he wouldn't be able to go anywhere because this as a private island with not that much to do on it.

Sighing to myself, I stood up and walked towards the water. I let the water wash over my feet as I put my sunglasses on the top of my head and looked out to the sea. The water coming in and going over my feet made me feel like there was something missing during this moment and that's when I saw it. No wonder I hadn't been able to find Joe on the island. He was on the boat!

I shook my head in anger and turned round. I walked back over to where my belongings lay and sat down. How dare he just get up and leave me on this island all by myself! I took my phone out my bag and called Joe's number as soon as I found it in my contacts. I put my sunglasses back over my eyes as the phone rang.

Finally, after a good few rings, he picked up.

“What the hell do you think you're doing?” I asked him, getting angry by the second.

“You weren't talking to me, so I came out on...” He started.

“I know where you are because I can see you. Your blonde hair does nothing for your hiding, Joe.”

“Why are you so pissed off at me? I try to do nice things for you and this is all the thanks I get?”

“Joe...” I started.

“No, Mia. You'll listen to me!” He shouted.

“No, Joe! You'll listen to me! There's someone else on this island with me!” My words came out shaky as looked over at the man that was standing on the beach watching me.

“That's impossible considering all the workers on the island are out here with me,” Joe replied, sounding a little worried.

“Joe, I'm serious. He's...please come and get me,” I begged, standing up and putting the beach towel in my bag.

“Mia, calm down...there's no...”

“Joe, please!” I cried as I picked up my bag and began to walk in the opposite direction from the man.

“Mia...”

“Joe, he's following me. I don't know what to do,” I said, picking my walking pace up.

“Stay calm would be the first thing,” he advised.

“Joe, you're suppose to be coming back for me!” I shouted before I felt a set of arms grab me by my waist.

I screamed and let my phone and bag drop to the ground.

“Mia!” I heard Joe shout before I got dragged away into the nearest garden.
