My breathing picked up suddenly when I heard something outside. "Shh, I hear something. I think it's them. They're awake." I whispered, sneakily making my way to a window.

"No, it can't be. It hasn't even been ten minutes since we locked up the door." Mason remarked rolling his eyes.

"And what do you know about chloroform? How do you know how long the effects last?" I turned to glare at him.

"In movies-" He started to defend himself.

"Yeah well this isn't a movie." I interrupted. " Dear lord, it is them! But they're walking strangely. Like their drunk?" I described maintaining my lowered volume afraid that they'll hear me. I felt his breath near my ear, causing me to tumble onto the seat near me. He collapsed nearly on top of me but caught himself.

"I was going to say... that they definitely can't hear you from there. Stop being so on edge." He laughed awkwardly before striding towards the middle of the jet where Tyson and Vanessa were sitting and watching us. I gulped, Vanessa looked so happy for us. If only she knew the story. She's definitely one to hold a grudge, perhaps even more than me. She wouldn't forgive Mason. "The disorientation must be an after effect of the chloroform. Tyson, you're sure the door is locked properly?" Mason easily changed the subject. "Yeah, I'm sure. Plus they can't exactly climb up, the stairs are attached to the inside of the door."

"Now, who's up for some wine?" Vanessa suggested cheerily, already getting up. I shrugged my shoulders, "why not?" I joined her as we walked to the back to grab some. "Jackpot!" Vanessa squealed grabbing two bottles of red wine from a mini fridge. "Can you get another two Sarah?" Just as I did, I found the news article from our engagement at the bottle of the rack. My eyebrows scrunched up as I tried to read the red ink.

"Oh my god," I gasped taking the two bottles and the news article back to where we were sitting. "Look, these are basically the blueprints for her plan. The pilot's her dad, I guess." Vanessa was pulling out the corks with full force when I read what was written, "Dad and I take Wilson's Jet -> Land in a deserted area -> Kidnap Tyson's fiance -> Dad asks for money -> Force Tyson to marry me in exchange for her life." I nearly laughed. This was it! Some chicken scratch on a news article. Their big plan! Mason was amused by it too. However, Tyson and Vanessa... not so much.

Tyson looked upset,"I can't believe your life was in danger because of me." He shook his head.

Vanessa bellowed, "Pfft, my life wasn't in danger, her life is! That crazy ass bitch, did she really think that would work! Using my life as leverage." she scoffed taking a mouthful of wine straight from the bottle.

Tyson shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair, "I can't even image how I'd make that choice. I'd probably kill myself first." His voice softened.

"Shh, don't you ever talk like that again!" She kissed him passionately. It looked like an intimate moment, but I couldn't tear my eyes away from their evident love for each other. A faint smile made its way to my lips. "That entire plan was ridiculous, it would've never worked. She's just a crazy hopeful psycho." Vanessa assured him, before pecking his lips once more. I opened up another bottle of wine and swallowed down the bitter taste.

All of our bottles were at least half empty and when we all started to get a little giddy, especially Vanessa. "Sarah why aren't you drinking, I'm nearly done my bottle. I might just snatch yours." She laughed, louder than she needed to.

I shook my head, "No way. You are not getting any more." Before chugging down the other half of mine. "Oh man, that wasn't smart." I realized while rubbing my palm to my forehead. "I don't feel so good."
