"I'm marrying a beast." I whimpered, more to myself. "A husband is supposed to love faithfully and endlessly, respect and trust wholeheartedly, and protect his wife with his life! That's what I searched for in my prince charming. But I ended up wit...
It had been a week since I'd dropped Mason to the Wilsons' mansion and left. I didn't even stay to see Mrs. Wilson's reaction. At that point I didn't have the energy to walk into their so called 'home', for what would be the first time surprisingly.
It was so overwhelming from the outside, I'd thought their other houses were big, but nah. I just couldn't bring myself to face the obscenely large building nor the Wilsons' crowd who'd so easily just thrown me aside like yesterday's trash. If I was to ever walk into that mansion as Vanessa's sister, I would make sure to look like I deserved to be there. Not like a half asleep, makeupless, hobo.
Now, I kind of regretted not going in. I wanted to see the look on Mrs. Wilson's face when she found out that it was mostly thanks to me that Mason had come back. Momma's little baby, back home. Yeah, you're damn welcome.
But nah, that was soo last week, she tried calling me after, and sent flowers to thank me, but I'd been so busy I just couldn't deal with any of that drama. I didn't care if she thought that I was ignoring her. I did what she wanted.
But I really had to talk to Mason! I kept reminding myself.
I was supposed to meet him the evening of the day we came back from San Fran, but he got held up at home. Which made sense. Then after that, we were both caught up with different things, mostly work related.
But truly Blake had been working his ass off with me, like some type of assistant helping me with all the arrangements for the wedding events and taking care of all the other errands. He was a Godsent.
We were in the middle of Mehndi Night, as I made sure all the women were having a good time dancing, singing, and getting their henna done.
The décor truly turned out perfect. The teal, peach, and gold colour combination looked great! I was a little skeptical at first when Blake pitched the idea of doing everything outdoors, but he was right. There was a lot more space, and my mom appreciated her house not getting dirty inside. The acre of land was finally coming in handy and its August, so the weather wasn't really a concern over here, being summer.

I peered down at my cell phone, it was nearing 9 pm and the sun was setting. It was time to turn on the lanterns to give an even more fairy tale look. Plus the pictures would look amazing.
I danced with Vanessa in the moonlight for a bit when her hands and forearms were covered and done and the henna was hardening.
After two songs, we sat down so she could get her feet done, "you are not moving from my side Sarah!" Vanessa ordered, "you haven't even start on your own mehndi! My sister's hands can't be empty!"
"Okay! Gosh, I had make sure everything was alright 'nessa!" I exclaimed in my defense.
She rested her hand on my knee, "nothing could be more perfect Sarah, you guys have really out done yourselves."
