I couldn't help how angry I felt. I hated how big headed and cocky Mason was about his money. I didn't come on this trip to live off of his wealth. I came because I was forced to, and I was happy that I had! Especially, because of how much our relationship had grown in the past couple of days.

I guess I suck at reading people and fall too easy.

I ordered another pizza and waited patiently until a rhythmic knock surrounded the suite. I angrily grabbed my wallet before marching to the door; however, I was left in shock when I opened the door and there was no pizza. Just Scott.

I gasped, dropping my wallet and immediately trying to shut the door but the forceful push from the other side took my breath away. He started walking towards me as I backed away. I knew the fear was evident on my face as I whispered, "w-what are you doing here?"

"I came to talk to you," he sighed, "I know that I told you I'd leave you alone. But I can't get you out of my head. I don't know what it is about you. It's beyond your looks... it's your innocence. It attracts me. Lures me to you." He said while smirking, closing the space between us.

Suddenly, we were in mine and Vanessa's room. "But you promised." I murmured, feeling small and young.

"I know, I know, I never break a promise. But people promise to stop drinking to their families, yet they still go to the bar and have drinks. They can't help it. They're alcoholics. I can't help it. I'm addicted."

I didn't want to plead but I didn't know how else to get away from this situation, "please. I'm getting married. Let me be."

"Awe, darling, don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. Like I said, I've come to talk."

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked the obvious question, trying to muster up the strength to look him in the eye.

"I came to ask if you really love your fiance as much as you once loved me?" He stepped closer to me, but this time I didn't move back.

I looked him straight in the eyes and straightened my back "I love him even more." I spat, trying to portray the confidence I felt in my answer.

He raised his eyebrow, as if impressed. I didn't waver as his hand reached to the back of my head. He clenched onto my dark hair,  "I don't believe that. Not one bit." I squirmed underneath his hard glare and his tight grasp on my hair. "You would've married me if I'd asked you four years ago. You loved me that much. And this, charade, that you're playing with the Wilsons." He chuckled dryly. "I can tell that it's all arranged, most likely for status and money." I clenched my jaw at his somewhat right, yet very wrong prediction. He noticed,"Oh right, perfect Sarah would never get married solely on for such shallow reasons. Must be your parents, trying to force you into this." I closed my eyes, I hated how well he knew me. "Ah, ring, ring, ring, I'm right. Sarah and her family." He sighed happily, pleased with how well he knew me even after these years.

There was no point in lying anymore, "it might've started with my family, but now we do actually love each other." I finally spoke with a steadier tone than I had imagined.

"I'd like to test that," He smirked even more, slightly pacing the narrow area between the beds.

I couldn't help the exhausted look on my face as my arms crossed over my chest, "can you please just leave?" I asked, not pleading as much as I felt annoyed. "I will call security." I threatened.

"Of course, because you are with the richest person at this resort. Mason, so, of course, all the security on Turks and Caicos will come at your command." He rolled his eyes.

I glared at him, "just get out." I pointed to the door behind me. "I don't care what you do, or who you do or where you do it. I just need you to leave me and my family alone. Just go and take care of your freaking pregnant wife." A nearly yelled as anger started to take over my fear.
