"I never thought of loving someone like you... but when I saw you and as I laid my eyes on you, I can't help myself from falling in love with you."

I paced back and forth, while waiting for Sarah to come back from her last class. I looked up at the large clock in the living room. It's been over an hour since her last class ended, she should be here any minute. I breathed calmly, in, out, in, out.

I just can't stop worrying about this evening, what if they don't like me-what if he doesn't like me? Is this guy going to be THE ONE? What if he's good-looking but a total asshole? What if he's like, really stupid!? I don't have enough patience to deal with a stupid guy... for the rest of my life!

But what if he isn't the one either... Just like the other two guys I saw. Is everyone I see going to be like them? Are there no sparks? Will I have to settle for a guy I don't even like? Am I really that desperate?

Questions were eating me up inside. I bit my lip worriedly.

I hope all those hours at the mall this morning, pay off. I bought the perfect dress for me to wear in front of my maybe in-laws and... husband to-be.

But what if I still don't look good enough? I sighed in exhaustion. Letting my head fall into my hands as I sat onto a couch.

Gosh, where is Sarah?

Sarah's P.O.V.

I quickly picked up the dress I'd ordered for Vanessa. She's been quite nervous about meeting these guys, and I'd thought that it would be nice to give her a dress to wear for tonight's dinner. To make a better impression, even though she's already beautiful enough.

I quickly glanced over at my cell to check the time, 4:18. Crap, I'm supposed to be home in twelve minutes, but I'm still half an hour away from home. I immediately turned on the engine of my car and sped off back onto the highway while blasting on the radio.

I pulled up on our driveway at almost 4:50. Just as I got out with the dress, Vanessa came running out the door, looking as if a volcano was about to erupt right from her head. I rolled my eyes at myself, volcano about to erupt... really Sarah, really?

She opened her mouth to say something, but her eye caught onto the dress in my hand.

"What is that?" She asked sharply, the 'volcano' starting to ease.

"It's a dress, I got for you, for tonight. Remember it's a formal restaurant." I answered, smiling.

"You didn't have to do that." She said calmly, looking away. "You see, I've already bought a dress." She added hurriedly.

"What? When?" I asked, shocked.

"Well... this morning. I was so incredibly nervous about tonight so I went shopping. Then I found a perfect black strapless."

"Well, you could've told me before!"

"I know, sorry..." She trailed.

"Why don't you wear it for me, were the same size." She requested, grinning.

"But I got it for you." I frowned.

"Fine, why don't you wear it tonight and if things don't go well with this guy I'll wear it next week for dinner with bachelor number 4." She decided, while grabbing my arm and walking up to our porch, not giving me a choice. Shaking my head disapprovingly, I followed her inside.

Just like I'd thought, the dress Sarah had bought for me looked even better on her. Everything turned out to be just right, we looked beautiful! We looked at each other and smiled.
