We had just finished eating dinner. Me and Loren were sitting in our usual side of the table. Which was always lonely. I felt bad for Loren. She always talked to mom during any eating times. But anytime she wanted to share something she was always shushed.

I walked up to Loren, were she was washing the dishes. "Hurry we have to be in your room by 9. It is already 8:30. I am done with my part." I walked away from her. She looked at me. I turned and smiled.

"Done." She said as she entered the attic. I walked around and got our stuff and hid them in a spot not noticeable or would make a sound when taken out. "Look what I found." I dangled the key in the air. She smiled. I was happy I was leaving this hell like family.

It was eleven. I got mine and Loren's stuff. "Wake up we need to get ready Loren." I shook her awake. She looked up and saw me wide awake and got excited. "Finally. I never thought the time would come." She bounced up and got her suit case. Surprisingly she didn't make a sound. We got out the attic quietly and headed downstairs.

As we closed in we saw that our old douchebag of a brother laid on the couch. "What do we do?" Loren seemed way too concerned. I looked around. till it hit me. He is a heavy sleeper. Everything gets passed him. "He sleeps heavily. But first give me a paper." She looked confused. "Why Jax?" It frustrated me that she wouldn't budge to give me a paper. "Whatever." I got it myself.

Mom. Dad. I honestly need to tell you guys something. I drink and get drunk all the time. And sorry to say I get girls pregnant.

The letter I had written read that. I was excited to get him busted. i had put it down where I knew Dorthy would find it. "Let's go." I told Loren. She smiled at me. But as I got the key to open the door the T.V and everything seemed to shut down. Me and Loren were startled. "Hurry they'll be down here any moment." Loren rushed me. I twisted the doorknob and we ran out side.

As the door closed behind us I heared the footsteps coming down the hallway that was in front of the door. "Let's go Loren." I looked at her and then began running our way to the main street to get a cab. "You do have the money right?" I looked and took it out. And that is when Dorthy ran our way.
