(A/N) Last new chapter before the school year starts. Yay! (: Hope you enjoy. Also, there's a very important question at the end of this chapter, please answer! It's crucial for our next chapter.
----
The car stayed silent for the rest of the ride. No one dared to speak after what I had just said. Lily followed behind Ashton to the back of the arena where he parked near the tour bus. Everyone climbed out, some slower then other.
Ashton and Michael were talking about something very intently as we walked up. I took a quick look at the two boys I had rode with, seeing both their eyes fixed on my wrists as they talked. Now they think you're even more of a freak then you were before.
I felt bad, I really did. But I knew if I didn't warn them, they would run to Ashton and Michael, and that couldn't happen. "We have to get to the bus before anyone notices us missing." Ashton spoke to the group first. Everyone nodded in agreeance.
I looked to Lily. I knew she couldn't come. She smiled vibrantly at me. As the boys made their way to the bus I took a minute to thank her. "Lily, I don't know what to say. You did so much for me." I could tell me saying that made her happy.
"I was my pleasure Ivy, honestly, I've never felt like anyone understands me quite like you." I nodded. I know that feeling. "I'm going to miss you." She agreed, gesturing to the bus. "You better get going." I looked at the bus, honestly regretting that I even had to get on it.
Lily's small hand lightly touched my arm, a loose enough grip that it didn't hurt, but I could tell what she was motioning towards. "Take care of yourself Ivy." I took a deep breath, again thanking her. I jogged to catch up to the boys that were almost to the bus.
I caught up taking a deep breath and bending over. Michael looked back tapping my back, "Damn Ivy, have you never ran before." I playfully glared at him. "I'd like you run that distance and not be out of breath." Everyone laughed, making me feel as though everything was alright, even when I know it wasn't.
"Touche, little sis," We reached the bus, Ashton reaching up to pull the door open. The second the door was open, I could feel everyone mentally groan. Justin stood at the other side of the door, arms cross and a scowl on his face.
He stepped aside letting us all come inside. I could see all four of the boys shoulders hunched as the sat at the table. I sat on Ashton's lap, mostly because I could irritate Justin better from here, and because there were no more seat.
"Almost got away with it." Luke mumbled, making everyone stifle laughter. Justin slowly turned to face the five of us. He paced slowly, making sure everyone's eyes were on him.
"I came this morning, to tell you four that the bus was ready to go earlier then expected. So imagine my surprise when I came inside to an empty bus and four missing money-makers." I frowned at his response. Did he really just call them money-makers. Ashton's hand ran up and down my back, attempting to keep me calm.
"And when you return, it wasn't just the four missing people, but you brought back one dainty problem for me to deal with." Ashton cleared his throat, almost as a warning to Justin that he needed to stop. The message wasn't received.
"Do you four not see the problem with her being here? She's going to come between this band, whether you realize it or not. She has to go." Michael looked at the manager like he was a fucking idiot. "Are you shitting me?" I watched Michael, partially grateful that he would have to climb over Calum in order to get to this dickhead.
"No, are you fucking retarded. The four of you are wasting your time baby sitting this stupid girl. Stop thinking with the head in your pants and use the one above your shoulders. I made you into stars, and you're pissing it away for this." He gestured towards me, Ashton's hands that were around me waist were gone, he knew he wasn't going to stop me if this guy pissed me off.
"Either the girl goes, or I end your careers, right here, right now. You have nothing without me. You were just a little boy band before I made you into something gre-," I stood up, crossing my arms and leaning back, just like I had done backstage the day before.
"You're going to end their careers? Fat chance in hell, even if your were the reason they were great, which you're NOT, they have millions of fans. Millions, you know, the word you use to describe having somethings over thousands. Yeah, that millions."
"They're great because they work their asses off, doing something they love and enjoy. You may make a pay check off them. But they aren't your money-makers. They are doing what they love. I don't give a fuck if you talk shit about me, you clearly aren't worth me worrying about."
"But them," I gestured towards the boys. "Talking shit about them when they deserve what they have more than anyone I know. That's fucked up. Fuck with me all you want, leave them the fuck alone." Justin stepped towards me. All four boys stood up, ready to step in if anything happened to me.
His face was as few inches away from mine, but my eyes were burning pure hate into his. "Don't fuck with me little girl." I lightly pushed him back, walking over to the door and pushing it open.
"Thank you for you're visit, when you're ready WE will also be ready to go." He knew he was defeated. And that's his own problem. You fuck with my boys, they might not bite back, but I will. He exchanged a hateful look with all of the boys before walking out the door where he nudge me with his shoulder.
Ashton when to say something, but I held a hand up, telling him to drop it without a sound. I pulled the door to the bus closed and looked back at my four best friends. "That..." Luke breathed. "That was amazing." I smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. "I can't believe you just did that." Ashton pulled me snugly into his arms.
"Ivy, why did you defend us like that?" I looked at Calum after he asked. I shrugged, "I suppose, I don't like the way he was walking all over my four favorite people." Calum nodded, a small smile playing at his lips. "Thanks, little sis." Michael walked pasted, messing up my hair with his hand as he walked towards the sleeping quarters of the bus.
"You're going to sleep?" Luke asked what we were all thinking. Michael simply held up his middle finger and threw himself into his bunk, disappearing from our sight. Ashton and I headed towards the front, sitting on the couch. He turned on the television, letting a hand lay loose on my leg.
He started watching a show I wasn't really familiar with, but I was looking at him. "Wouldn't you rather focus on me?" He looked at me. He bit his lip just enough for me to notice. I looked around him to see where Calum and Luke were. They seemed deep in conversation, but it was easier for me to tease Ashton this way.
I got on top of him, looking down at him with innocent eyes. He groaned, closing his eyes. "Please don't do that," I placed a hand on his chest, making him open his eyes again. "Do what?" He fought the urge to groan again, "That, being all innocent and sexy at the same time."
I rolled my eyes and leaned down, "I'm not trying to." He shook his head, running a hand down my back. I felt him lean forward for a kiss, causing a smile to play at my lips. "Unfortunately, we can't." I raised an eyebrow at me. "The children are right there." I motioned to Calum and Luke who were now buried into their phones. Thanks for your help guys.
"Fuck them." Ashton reached an arm out, pulling the curtain the gave a little bit of privacy across. I rolled my eyes at him. Typical boy. "Now kiss me." He gently pulled me towards him. I pressed my lips against his softly, letting his hand run down my back. I smiled into the next kiss. I like this, I like feeling confident.
I slid my hands to the underside of Ashton's shirt, revealing his tan skin. He quickly took it off, tossing it to the ground beside him. I lightly ran a hand down his chest, causing goose bumps and a little flinch to happen. He lightly took hold of my wrist, "Ivy, you can't do that," I smiled proudly. "And what was I doing exactly."
I repeated the action, this time moving my hand up his chest towards his face as I leaned in close, mumbling a quiet 'hm' in his ear. His grip tightened. I felt Ashton's warm breath on my neck, his lips just inches away.
"I-," He hesitated, I could tell that I caught him off guard. His eyes stared slightly above my head, his mind starting to daydream about something I didn't have to think about to hard to figure out. I placed a light kiss on his cheek before standing up, letting him deal with his 'little' problem.
I moved the curtain just enough to allow me through, walking over to where Luke and Calum were still nose-deep into their phone. I abruptly sat down, startling them both. "Geez Ivy, eat much for breakfast this morning."
I bit my cheek at Calum's comment. Now Calum has said something about me being fat. Can't deny it now, can you? Luke nudged Calum softly, making him look back up from his phone. I crossed my arms in front of me, suddenly self conscious. He looked at me for several moments before realizing what had happened.
"Oh, no, Ivy, I didn't mean it like that." I shook my head at his response, looking down at my covered arms. "You obviously did." My tone was defensive, which seemed to be more like my normal tone recently. He sighed loudly, looking back at his phone.
I looked up at Luke, seeing him extremely distraught with Calum's quickness to give up. He rolled his eyes and looked at me. His blue eyes friendly and warm, something I wasn't particularly used to seeing. Luke and I aren't very close I suppose.
"So what's up Iv?" I fiddled with the sleeves of Luke's flannel. "I just came to apologize for earlier." Calum shut the screen of his phone off, seeming interested in my presence now. "For what?" Luke questioned, but I'm fairly sure we all know what for.
"Ivy, there's no reason to be sorry. You were scared, that's all." Calum lightly placed a hand on my arm. I nodded, it didn't stop me from feeling bad. "We won't tell anyone one," Calum exchanged a glance with Luke, I could tell there was a silent conversation taking place.
Luke looked towards me and just watched me for a minute or so before speaking. "As long, as you promise to stop." I furrowed my eyebrows, an ultimatum? Really...
Rather then argue with them, I nodded and looked out the window of the bus. You wouldn't last even if you wanted to. This is true. I could desire more then anything in the world to keep my side of this promise. But I've always believed a promise is only made to be broken.
Calum's eyes fixated on mine. I shifted uncomfortable, even though I knew he couldn't possibly know what was happening in my head, every time he watched my like that I felt like he was slowly figuring it out.
A light knock came from the buses door. Luke quickly stood up, opening it for the manager. He stepped inside, with a woman I believed was his assistant. I had seen her standing near him several times before, but never alone with him.
"We're leaving now. We'll reach Leander in 3 hours and 15 minutes." Leander? Like Lily's Leander? My momentary daydream faded and I focused back in on reality. I looked at the small and dainty girl that was with Justin. She smiled happily at me and gave me a thumbs up.
I raised an eyebrow. What did I do? Justin cleared his throat, causing me to look at him. "I trust you'll cause no issues, right, Ms. Clifford?" I rolled my eyes, this asshole, don't be all cordial now. "Only if you're no where near me."
He uncomfortable shifted his stance. "Right." He turned cautiously, obviously not liking the idea of having his back to me. Good idea. "Goodbye gentlemen." He left leaving the door open. His assistance stood still for a moment, watching me before making he way out the door. Luke reached out closing the door and looked at me.
"What was that about?" I shrugged my shoulders, pretending to be unphased. "I have absolutely no idea."

(A/N) So, the next chapter.... As you can tel I've been playing around with the idea of some smut in the chapters. The only reason I am apprehensive about doing it is because I feel like there with be respect lost as soon as I publish it. So here's my question. Do you want me to publish a chapter including smut or not?: The other option is that I publish two versions of the chapter, one with and one without? Please respond below, Much LOVE ~Row
