"Sab?"

"Steph? Steph!" Sabrina exclaimed as she ran towards her twin sister, Stephanie, who fetched her at the airport. She just came from Cebu, where she resides, to attend the annual family Christmas dinner at their Grandmother's house.

"So, kumusta ka naman, Manang?" Sab retorted.

"Ang harsh mo naman. Anong manang?"

"Totoo naman eh. Tignan mo nga yang suot mo, ang haba-haba."

"Wag ka ngang ano. Eh sa dito ako comfortable eh." Steph said as the two loaded Sab's luggage in the car and got in.

"Whatever floats your boat, sis. Whatever floats..." Sab wasn't able to to finish her sentence as her phone beeped.

Nasa Manila ka na ba babe? How's the flight?

Yes, babe. Ayos naman. Actually, I'm with my sister na. Papunta na kami sa bahay ni lola.

Ganun ba? Pwede facetime tayo pagdating mo dun?

Yeah, Sure. Uhm, magpapa-fireworks ba tayo?

Bakit, miss mo na kwitis ko?

Magiging sinungaling ako, if I say 'No'.  Eh, si pla-pla ko miss mo din ba?

Ugh! Always, babe. Tss, awat na nga muna, tinitigasan na ako dito e. Kasama ko pa naman si Mommy.

Ay! Sige, mamaya sakin yang tigas na yan. Lol. Bye.

"Hoy Sab. Bakit natahimik ka dyan? Kanina pa ko nagsasalita dito oh." Steph said while she drove.

"Uhm, sorry. Ano na nga yung sinasabi mo?"

"Sabi ko, how are you coping with Mama and Papa's Separation?"

"Simple lang, hindi ko masyadong dinidibdib. Tsaka, bago pa man ako umalis they're bound to separate na, ini-expect ko ng mauuwi nga sa ganito. Ganun lang."

Sabrina left home a year ago, longing for independence. She has always felt that she was the free-spirited girl who cannot be contained in a small town. When she got a job offer in Cebu, she took it immediately, leaving everything behind, including her twin sister, Stephanie.

"Pero hindi ka man lang nalungkot? I mean, parents kaya natin yun. They're supposed to be together forever."

"Syempre naman. Pero what can I do? may buhay din akong kailangang asikasuhin. Pero, no offense Steph ah, ano namang alam mo sa "love"? Eh hindi ka pa naman nagkaka-jowa?"

"Alam mo, ang sama mo sa akin. I have fallen in love. Kaya, I know how it feels. It just pains me that Mama and Papa are throwing away 30 years of marriage. For me kasi, when something is broken, you should fix it, not throw it away."

"Well, too bad. Kasi Mama and Papa are not like that. Kasalanan naman kasi nila, they let themselves fall out of love." Sab shrugged.

"I don't believe that, Sab. May kutob akong mahal pa nila ang isa't-isa, they just won't admit it."

"Oh well. Hayaan na natin sila. Jusko, matatanda na sila. Anyway, sabi mo in love ka na?" Stephanie just glanced at her sister and smiled.

"Tanginuh...ang tamis ng ngiti oh? Inlababo ang bruha!" Sab teased.
