The Funeral- Band of Horses
•Macy's POV•
"What?" I huffed and looked over the two guys
"You just asked to go home and your internally bleeding" Simon repeated for the third time
"Cal won't care, and you guys need the money" I crossed my arms, the doctor had just explained the that I'd need to go to surgery if it doesn't stop.
"Macy, seriously stop" Josh sighed, putting his head in his hands.
"You guys don't have to stay here" I looked up at the two guys
"We do" Simon replied looking back down to his phone
"You could run away and tell" Josh mumbled
"And I would do that because?" I said like it was obvious "Where would I go anyway?"
They didn't say anything, they didn't understand me, I didn't really understand me.
I fully lay down and painfully rolled over to my better side, pulling the thin hospital quilt over my body and tried to fall asleep.

•Third person•
As Macy tried to sleep the guys didn't know what to do.
Simon was worried and Josh was angry, this girl took the fun out of kidnapping. They had been doing this for years, grooming and kidnapping, most girls that fell into their lap. Apart from their girlfriends, of course, they can't even explain why but they were different. Simon could still remember the last girl easily, her name was Abigail. She always put up a fight, until the day she admitted to being in love with Simon, love wasn't acceptable so they hired someone to kill her. Simon still felt sick at the thought, he wanted anything but the same to happen to Macy.
"What are we going to do?" Josh mumbled from his hands
"Get on with it" Simon sighed, Macy was different. She didn't struggle or try to run away, she wasn't sexual or innocent, she was just surviving.
"What are we meant to do? Fix her?" Josh looked up from his hands with a mix of emotions in his eyes
"Maybe, we could start with her eating and work up?" Simon question, they knew right well that Macy was anorexic, even though she didn't tell them.
"Did we go too far?" Josh asked after a short silence, motioning towards the sleeping girl
"What do you mean?" Simon had a vague idea but wasn't very sure
"With Macy, she was right, Freya has every right to leave me if she finds out." Josh said with a sigh, this whole thing was messy, but she was the first to ask about their girlfriends, everyone else was too caught up with their own problems.
"Well she won't, if she, or any of them, come round then she's mine" Simon reassured Josh, who had tears in his eyes.
"Maybe we could give her a treat" Josh looked at the sleeping girl with a twinkle of hope in his eyes. They had got to know this girl, her personality, her love for Chelsea F.C and animals.
"Yeah, but tomorrow we need the money" Simon joined Josh in the staring, this industry was big money and the guys had made their own platform in it. Their popular status got them to the top fast and they usually work with other YouTubers from the UK and occasionally Ireland.
"Mr Minter, Mr Bradley, could I please talk to you outside," An older doctor asked in a hushed tone. The boys got up and sluggishly made their way outside of the sleeping girl's room.
"As you probably have heard, this is not Macy's first time in this hospital, and I just wanted to talk to you about the marks that we found on her legs and torso" The doctor continued once the door was closed.
"Yes, of course." Josh answered, waking up a bit more
"You see, the last time she was in, less than two months ago, for cutting too deep" The doctor grimaced. Both of he boys nodded, they had already seen the stitch marks on her legs.
"She was being offered therapy and I think it would be best if you made her go, as you are planning to adopt her" He continued, pushing up his glasses and looking at her stats. That was the excuse they used to see her. Both of the guys were unsure, there was always the possibility of their secret getting out, she was the first girl they had ever taken to the hospital because, well they didn't know why, they felt a connection to her. Like she was a missing piece of them.
"I think that would be great" Simon spoke up after the silence. He didn't really know what to do, Josh was strongly against the idea but just had to lie to the doctor.
"As for her bleeding, we looked over the scan and it has thankfully stopped, she can get her medication and leave anytime now. Thank you for your time, I best be off" The post doctor said before disappearing down the large ward.

As all of this was happening Macy was listening in, she never wanted to go to therapy as she didn't like to open up or people to feel sorry for her. She just wanted to go back to the sidemen house and lie down. She hated the whole idea of them 'feeling sorry' for her, they kidnapped and were planning to sell her for sex, after all, she was angry at them, of course, she was how else would you react? She knew how to stay calm so she used it to her advantage.
