Can we talk about this picture and how it's the most wholesome thing you need in your day.
•Macy's POV•
As I gazed out at the city from Ethan's spare bedroom, I felt the tears begin to drip from my eyes. I always felt weak when I cried, helpless. My body curled up on the floor even more, the tears being absorbed by a black baggy hoodie Ethan had lent me.
I stood up shakily and walked into the dark hall.
"Guys shhh Macy's sleeping." I heard Ethan slur rather loudly, a eruption of giggles shortly after filled the room. I didn't go any further, but felt trapped in the darkened room. I opted for sitting down in the hall and listening to the group of drunk adults talking and messing around in the living space.
I had quickly zoned out, staring at my bruised, bare feet infront of me.
"Macy, why are you crying?" The soft voice of Tobi came to my attention.
"I need to get a job." I sighed, ignoring his question.
"Why do you need to get a job?" I sat down opposite me, his legs beside mine.
"Because I can't pay for things." I looked down to my bitten nails.
"I tell you what, I know a guy who's looking for a graphic artist, I've seen your work around my flat, I could send a few of them over and I know he'll hire you." He patted my shin when he finished his proposal. "As long as you promise to work things out with Josh and meet your dad." He added.
"What if he doesn't want me?" I asked looking into his warm brown eyes.
"He will, trust me." He gave me a warm smile before standing up and holding out a hand. "Now, I want you to come and talk to someone." He said before pulling me up and into the living space where quite a large group of men sat. I only knew a few of them, including Harry, Cal, Simon and of course Ethan.
