Heart Hope- Oh Wonder
•Macy's POV•
"Please talk to me Macy" Simon said almost desperately as he sat beside me on the soft ivory sheets I had not had the motivation to move from. I hadn't spoke since I came home yesterday. The first person I was faced with was Josh, and the undeniable similarities between him and my father. It freaked me out, although it could all have been me over thinking, it overwhelmed me. I sat with my thighs pressed against my chest, my arms clutching the letter that I had not yet let go of and my face resting on my knees.
"You wouldn't understand" I whispered, looking up to where the perfect white ceiling and calming beige walls met.
"I can only not understand if you tell me" His voice was more calm and level, as if he'd realise the venerability in mine.
The excitement I once felt had turned to fear and anger. Anger at my mother for not telling me, anger at Mary for not letting me know sooner and anger at him- my father- for not being there. Now I had to make the decision of wether I wanted to actually meet him or not, if I wanted to hear him out for not being there the past seventeen years of my life or even tried contacting me.
Each of the guys had tried to speak to me. JJ was out and knew nothing of the situation, Josh went to record, Vik went to bed and Simon, well Simon had not yet left. It was currently six in the morning and I had not slept, neither has Simon but I knew he was tired as the bags under his eyes were prominent.
"You should get some sleep, Simon" I whispered once again, looking down from the ceiling and to the brown
envelope I hadn't opened since.
"Not until you tell me what's wrong" He sighed gently, shuffling slightly.
"Then there's nothing wrong" I sighed and got up off my bed and lifted the covers, laying down and closing my eyes.
•Simon's POV•
I watched as Macy closed her eyes, I decided against keeping her awake to pester her, so I stood up and tucked her quilt in a bit.
I huffed out quietly, gazing over Macy. I noticed the brown envelope that she held closely to her chest and couldn't resist the urge to take it and read over it.
