Polarize- Twenty Øne Pilots
•Macy's POV•
Today I woke up in a more comfortable bed and in a room with a window. I rolled over to my side to study the room. Last night I threw up some more and then brushed my teeth before passing out. This room was massive, I figured I must have been in a box room the night before. I swung my legs out of the bed and looked around some more. Even though I've been in their house a few times, I've never been in any of their rooms or upstairs for that matter. I looked down and realised that someone had changed me into pyjamas last night well a blue SDMN tee shirt and some pyjama bottoms. I shivered at the thought but it wasn't like they hadn't seen anything before. I picked up my phone, that was on the bedside table, to see that it was already midday. I rubbed my head and stood up. Then it hit me. Today was the day. The day that I was going to see the therapist. I looked into the mirror to see big purple, black bruises on my face. I pulled up my tee shirt to see the dark red and the same black and purple mixed together.
"There are some clothes in the wardrobe, don't forget about your appointment" Simon stood at the door
"I'm sacred" I mumbled, still looking at the bruises on my side, carefully brushing my fingers over them.
"Everything will be ok and this will help you" The tall boy stood behind me.
"Why do you want to?" We made eye contact through the mirror for a short moment, before his actions of the night previous flashed through my mind.
"You're our child now" He sighed and walked out, closing the door behind him.
It scared me that they cared. Always did, always will. I opened the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of leggings and a black hoodie then found pants and a bra. I put them on and fixed my hair and brushed my teeth in the ensuite. I checked my phone to see that it took me fifteen minutes. I opened the door and looked around. It was much like the hall that I saw yesterday. Today I didn't sneak about, I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to see two, very stressed boys. I didn't fully walk in but just stood and watched them talking around the island.
"I know" Josh sighed, putting his head into is hands.
"It's like how can she not be in pain" Simon shook his head
I was in pain, but I had learned to block it out a long time ago.
"I wonder what happened her side" Josh questioned, looking up from the crevice in his palms.
"Yeah,  it's too big for her to have done it" Simon agreed.
"It just looks like someone poured boiling water all over her side." Josh said. That was what happened, Jack held me down while Ann did it, a punishment for being home late. I wasn't that bad only over my left side, I had to get a skin graft and tell them it was an accident.
"The back of her legs too, they were absolutely covered in marks" It was as if Simon was almost amazed by my skin.
"Ann and Jack" I weakly informed the pair. Both of them whipped their heads round quickly, clearly taken off guard by my presence.
"Who were they?" Josh asked cautiously
"They were bad people" I couldn't hold eye contact, they made me feel ashamed
"What did they do?" Simon didn't speak any louder that a whisper, as though is was needed.
"They hurt me" I made brief eye contact but looked away quickly. A mix of emotions I couldn't quite read in their eyes.
"I'm so sorry" Josh sympathetically replied, the shock prominent in his words.
"You've done nothing that I didn't deserve" I pulled a weak grin.
"Fuck off" Simon mumbled
"I went to that tree to relax, I ended up watching the football quite a lot" I gave away a bit of my story, the big I never quite wanted to tell them.
"What?" Josh asked
"That's how we met" I made eye contact with the sad looking guys.

I was finally getting out of the house for a short while. Ann had friends coming over and she didn't want them to see me. I wasn't complaining because it was raining and I love the rain. I knew exactly where I was going. A small park on the other side of the city from the house. I looked around slightly, there were football pitches to my left, a picnic area to my right and a play park in front of me. I went to the same newly painted black bench underneath a large oak tree and plopped down with a happy sigh as I watched all of the scenes unfold around me. The rain had stopped a while ago, the local children raced out of their shelters to play their games again. An old man was sitting at the picnic tables throwing out bread to the birds. Though what caught my eye the most was a fairly large group of about seven men in about their twenties all walking towards the pitches with various kinds of recording equipment. They set up within minutes an odd suspicion that they were YouTubers confronted me, they looked pretty familiar but I decided to ignore it, to just enjoy their tricks and them generally enjoying themselves. It was my favourite pass time, to watch people and their friends have fun, I choose not to make friends. Figuring it wouldn't be fair if I left once more.

"We saw you before that, watching us" Simon faintly smiled.
"Is that why you hit me?" I looked up at the boy who was slowly moving closer to m.
"No, that was just Ethan's bad aim but we had taken interest in you" Josh explained
"You still saved me" I made eye contact with Josh a leant on the opposite side of the table
"I know" Josh looked guilty
"Anyway, who's taking me to see the therapist" I moved on because they were quite uncomfortable
"They wanted to see the both of us" Simon shrugged
"Imagine if they thought that you were a couple" I laughed at the thought "Minizerk"
"Fuck off" Simon rolled his eyes while chuckling
"We'll be late if we don't go now come on" Josh huffed, walking over to the door.
