Midnight Moon-Oh Wonder

{Back to the phone call}
I was recording a real life video with Cal(lux) when I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. "Hold on a second." I said whilst pulling out my phone to see that it was Macy. "Macy's calling" I mumbled over to Cal
"Oh put her on speaker and she can be the intro" He deviously smirked. I laughed and stood beside him, in front of the camera.
"Hey, Macy" I answered in a cheery way
"Ethan, the voices are back." Her voice was shaky and broken. I instantly thought for the worst: suicide.
"What do you mean, Macy are you okay?" I switched tones to a more serious one. I looked over to see both the cals and Sarah had a concoction of fear on their face, I could imagine mine was the same.
"No. Ethan, I need to tell you something before I go" she in a calmer voice. The voice that's eerily calm. One that you never want to hear.
"Where are you going? What's wrong Macy" I was more concerned than before. I didn't want her to go. I loved her.
"I love you, Ethan. I'm going to be with my mum. Tell the guys I said thanks for saving me. This is for the best" Freezy had disbanded from the small group and went to the window,  with his hand resting on his neck and Cal was reassuring Sarah that everything was fine.
"Macy. Listen to me. It's not your time. I love you too. Where are you?" I motioned them to call Josh or Simon and started to gather my things.
"You'll find out soon enough. I really do love you. More than a friend. Goodbye Ethan" Her voice was small and fragile as she ended the call.
"FUCK!" I yelled throwing my phone away from me. "Any word from the guys" I looked over to them, combing a hand through my hair.
"They said she ran off at Nando's down in Westfield so she can't be too far" Freezy filled me in.
"So what do we do? Call the police?" I asked with a defeated sigh.
"No, she could still rat on us" He snapped. Sarah helped run things, got us business so we didn't have to hide it from here. We were talking last night and the guys understood and respected our decision, which we were very surprised about it.
"She kissed you, for us. She went to the hospital and lied, for us. She made food without being ordered and didn't even eat herself, don't you dare say that" I snapped back instantly, I loved her and trusted her, and I hated myself for not telling how much I loved her too.
"I'm sorry mate, but she is still a victim of the ring" He mumbled, referring to the grooming, kidnapping and sex. That was when my phone started to buzz again, I quickly scrambled to retrieve my phone from where I had thrown it. Reading Macy's name, I didn't take any time to answer.
"M-Macy?" I choked on tears I didn't realise I was crying. Yes
"Hi, I'm Tom. I found your friend at the wetlands walk down in Stratford here" He had a calm voice. I froze
"I-is she o-okay" I barely whispered, instantly thinking the worst
"Yeah she's fine, just a bit shaken up, can someone come and get her? I don't think she should be alone right now" Tom replied. I instantly feel more relaxed but I was now crying in relief, my hands still shaking in concern.
"Y-yeah of course, I'll be there in a few" I rushed and hung up.
"S-she's okay, someone found her at the wetlands" I informed the guys
"Do you want us to come with you?" Freezy asked.
"No" I snapped back, I was still annoyed about what he said "I'll get her myself, call Josh and tell him that we found her" I rushed out of the apartment and waited, anxiously for the lift to come. I knew a car would slow me down so I ran as fast as I could to the park.
By the time I got there I was a sweaty, tired mess. I made my way over to where he said they were and spotted and older, a tall man with a small figure curled up beside him. I knew it was Macy. I walked over to them in relief.
"Thank you so much for saving her" I grasped onto the now standing man.
"You're welcome, she's asleep now and I think a bit of rest will do her good" He smiled, sadly at me. "Now, I have a train to catch so I must be off" He rushed past me.
"Bye." I mumbled and sat down beside her, pulling her onto my lap to warm her up as she was shivering. I then pulled out my phone and tapped on Josh's number.
"Is she okay" He answered quickly.
"Yeah, she's asleep right now, I'll probably carry her back to mines" I replied in a hushed tone
"Thank fuck" He breathed out "I'll meet you there" He hung up.
"Let's get you home" I mumbled down at the sleeping girl curled up in my arms, standing up and holding her bridal style. She weighed as much a coin so it wasn't hard and there weren't many people around, letting me walk home comfortably.
"I'm sorry we hurt you" I mumbled to her, adjusting her so she didn't fall. We were nearly at the flats.
When we got to the flats I headed up to the Cals because that's where I assumed Simon and Josh would be. I awkwardly knocked on the door and it burst open in seconds with both Josh and Simon standing there.
"She fell asleep at the park, it think it would be best if we let her sleep" I spoke quietly, handing her over to Josh.
"Oh Macy, what have we done to you" I mumbled when we got into the apartment.
"What will we do" Simon sighed, looking at the others, who had also come to their apparent.
"We're doing everything we can, really" Tobi shrugged.
"What about her saying that she loved Ethan" Freezy folded his arms.
"Does it matter?" I snapped, I knew it shouldn't matter. Harry put a hand on my shoulder to stop me from lunging at him.
"Calm down Ethan, we'll see when we know she okay" Simon sighed.
We had moved the kitchen, the tension was thick.
All I wanted was for Macy to be safe and happy.
