I just went outside the room and sat down there. The doctor came outside: "What's your name?" "Sean McLoughlin", I answered. "Mr. McLoughlin, You shouldn't stay here all time. We'll call you if something changes." "No, I want to stay here. If she wakes up..." The doctor Interrupted me: "We can't tell if she wakes up at all." "I know, but please. Let me stay here." I sat on down on a chair and looked into (y/n) room. The doctor went away. He knew that he couldn't change my decision.

16 hours passed

My phone vibrated. "Are you still in hospital?", Mark asked. "Yes. 3rd floor. Left corridor." My eyes hurt cause I hadn't slept. "I'll be there in about 5 minutes." I was so glad Mark came to help me through this hard time. The doctor went outside of her room. "How is she?", I asked him. My voice sounded terrible. I hadn't drunk anything for hours. "You should get yourself a drink and some food. Miss (y/l/n) wouldn't like to see you like this." "I know, but how is she?" "Her condition is still critical. We estimate her chance of ever waking up to about 25%." "Thank you doctor." "Mr. McLoughlin. You must be clear about one fact. We don't know how bad her injuries really are. If she wakes up she could be handicapped forever. We don't know yet cause our attention is on keeping her alive." I nodded. "And now do yourself a favor and get some food and drink." Then he walked away.

I saw Mark coming down the corridor. "Hey Jack. You look like a total wreck." He gave me a cup of coffee. "Thanks Mark." "Did you stay here all night?" "Yes, I didn't sleep. I didn't eat something. I only drunk a cup of water a nurse gave me some hours ago." "Jack", Mark sounded very worried, "we go now downstairs and get you some food. Cause you look like a freaking zombie." Mark spoke very carefully cause he thought i might freak out. "You need a break from starring at her door. I'm sure (y/n) would not like to see you like this. You need some food." "Okay, you're right.", I said.
