Sean pov.

~ earlier that day ~

Before I left my apartment, I took one last look in the mirror. "Why am I so nervous?" I asked myself. I thought of (y/n). She was nice, funny, pretty. Everything I liked in a woman. I wanted to make a good first impression. I ran my hands through my hair again. The green was already very faded, but I wanted to give my hair a break before I dyed it again.

I grabbed my keys and my wallet. "Don't forget to get groceries when driving home", I wrote myself a notification for 6pm. I did not have the time or the energy for that yet. I locked the door to my apartment and went downstairs into the parking-garage. The navigation system said it would take me around 20 minutes to get to the park.

Traffic was horrible as always that's why I was around 5 minutes late. I checked my hair and face in the mirror before leaving the car. I went for the nearest entrance to the park. Just when I wanted to take out my phone to call (y/n) I noticed 3 guys standing in front of a parking bench. As I looked closer, I saw them cornering a girl. It was too far away to see their faces but close enough to notice the girl was in distress. So I decided to go up to them and figure out what was going on.

~ time skip ~

When I got home, I first made myself dinner. My thoughts were completely scattered. I thought about my afternoon with (y/n) and how much nicer and even prettier she was in real life. But I also thought about the incident with the three classmates. I could already imagine that it would come back to haunt her on Monday. But I couldn't just watch and do nothing. Besides, I didn't even know it was her at the beginning.

I decided to let it rest for now. There wasn't much I could do anyway. (y/n) was at home, would turn on the stream soon and then she probably wouldn't think about it for a few hours. I decided to record a few new videos and then sent the footage to Robin so he could start editing. It was only 9 pm so I checked to see if (y/n) was still live. And she was. She was playing The Last Guardian and was about to reach the ending of the game. I looked forward to see her react to the last cutscenes. She started crying cause they were really emotional. I texted her. "I wanted to cry too during the ending." The credits began and she took some tissues and wiped away the tears. "I need to pull myself together", she said. She muted her mic and turned off her camera during the credits. My phone rang. She texted me a 😊 back. "Talk later?", I asked. She replied with "<". After the credits she talked a bit with her community and ended the stream. "I'll call you in 10 minutes."

(y/n) pov.

I felt better. The stream went great and I finally managed to play through the game. Also, Sean wanted to talk to me. I had been worried all evening that the incident with my classmates had scared him off and that he no longer wanted anything to do with me. Then they would have really managed to ruin everything for me.

Even though I was terribly happy about this afternoon and evening, I still had doubts and fear of fucking it up. Maybe Sean wouldn't accept me for who I really am...

I decided to let it go for the moment. I would enjoy it while it lasted and not worry about it all the time. That would ruin it for me.

Another thing I was worried about was how (y/b/n) and the others would react on Monday. There was no way they would just let it go. (y/b/n) had most likely already told the entire class what had happened - at least his version of the story. There were no way people would believe me. I thought about calling in sick...

Discord rang and I picked up. After the usual small talk, it was clear to me what topic he was going to address. And I decided to talk to him about it and not close myself off. I read the text to him that (y/b/n) sent me earlier.
