Thirty-six

(y/n) pov.

So there I was. On the floor. Unable to move. I had a full on panic attack. And nobody was there to help me. I still heard all the screaming around me. People pushed each other, trying to get out of the building as fast as possible. I hear someone coming towards me. "(y/n)?", I heard a familiar voice. I looked to the left and saw Kevin running towards me. "(y/n)", Kevin says relieved and bends down. He sat down next to me. "Are you okay?", he asked. He seemed very worried. I nodded. "Well, you look like you are having a panic attack." I nodded. I started shaking from all the panic. Kevin took off his jacket and wrapped it around my shoulders. "Thanks", I whispered. I managed to calm down a bit.

We sat there for about five minutes. Neither him nor me said anything. I tried my best to breath calmly to stop the panic-attack. Suddenly we all heard a loud crack. We could not even react as a massive beam crashed down from the sealing. People screamed even more and ran even faster. A mass-panic unfolded again. People pushed each other, throwing others down just to reach the door faster. It was a horrible picture. And therefor I panicked even more. "Hey, hey look at me. Okay, look at me. It's okay. (y/n). Everything is okay. Breath in and out. Come on. In and out. Good, good." Kevin tried his best to calm me down. I think he didn't know what to do ether. The only thing he knew was that he needed me to calm down because I was still unable to move during the panic attack.

So I closed my eyes and concentrated on breathing calmly. I tried to focus on my breath only. I managend to take my mind off everything in that moment. After five minutes of I was finally calm enough to get up. My body was still shaking so I had to take it slow. We tried to walk outside of the room. "Have...you seen...Sean?", I asked very silent. I was not able to speak up. "No, but I bet he is fine. He was at the stage and normally there is a lot of security." I nodded. I knew Kevin did not know more than me but he just pretended to keep me calm. And it worked. I was still afraid that something might have happened to Sean but I had to take my mind of that thought for now. We managed to get out of the room. I wanted to head for the exit but Kevin was holding me back for a second. "We need to find Daniel." "Wasn't he with you?", I asked in a bit of panic. I started panicking again. "What if something happened to him?" "Calm down, I'm sure we will find him in no time. We split up just one minute before the attack happened so he could not have gone far from where I was."

So we went on. My panic washed off a bit and I was feeling a bit better. I had to get my shit together or we might die. At that time nobody knew if there were attackers in the building, ready to shoot at victims or something like that. So we sneaked around very carefully. Chaos was everywhere. The entrances were blocked. The building was in Lock-down. So we could not get out until the police rescued us. We were all on our own."Let's go and find Daniel, so we can get the hell out of here when the police opens up the doors", Kevin said and we went on.
