His P.O.V

There's such no greatest thing in the world than having a complete family. A family that I thought I can't never have. A family that I thought I will just wait for some time they would give for me.

She is the only one who owns my heart and never having any plan of claiming it back. I know it was wrong. It was wrong because she is my bestfriend's.

I ignored it for a very long time hoping I can find someone who will replace her , but I was like a mermaid whose heart was only made for one person. Though I tried so hard I can't replace her.

When oppurtunity came to prove my love for her. I didn't think twice.  Though I knew she's carrying the fruit of their love. I was selfless then. A selfless who thought less of anyone who would judge me . I wouldn't care what would people say just to ensure that I am fulfilling my dreams. And my dreams including her..

I let her go. Yeah I did. Because I knew she is, was and will never be happy with me. I knew the feeling of loving someone too much so I let her go. To let her be happy with someone else. With my bestfriend.

Maybe. Just maybe we are destined to pull out. I knew from the start that she's just trying and trying harder to love me. But heart wants what it wants like what my heart wants. Only her. And for her, only him.

I was just surprised that Nathan called me saying..

"My man, please love my princess as much as you love her mom. Please do treat her as your own. I trust you buddy"

And the next day Jasmine and Nathalie came.

"Dad, male-late na tayo!" I snap back to reality when Nathalie exclaimed.

I smile widely.

"Daddy, matagal ikaw!" Krichelle exclaimed even more.

"Bi, ang tagal mo naman kasi" Jazmine said calmly.

Kaya binilisan ko na. Who  wouldn't be excited when it is our eldest's graduation at syempre pa  a Magna Cum Laude.

"Dad, naman eh. Tumatanda ka na talaga" pang aasar sakin ni Nathalie.

"Sabi mo pa ate. Makakalimutin kamo" its Earl our only son.

"Wanna bet on that Christian Earl?" Bawi ko naman sakanya.

"Dad, talaga mahilig sa pustahan" natatawa nalang na sabi ni Nathalie.

We laugh in unison.

"By the way Nate, your daddy Nathan will come?" Tanong ko kay Nathalie.

It would be so depressing if Nathan wouldn't show up on her graduation.

"Ofcourse dad, subukan niya lang hindi pumunta I won't hesitate to throw a bomb on their house" natatawang sagot naman niya.

For almost 20 years being married. It was a total blessing.. We have Nathalie, she chose to stay on our side though she knew that I am not her biological father. And we are blessed with two wonderful kids.

"Dad, we're here" Krichelle announced.

"Nathalie Auriele Gonszales, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Magna Cum Laude"

Jazmine lean into my shoulder and cried.

"Ang laki na niya" she whispered.

I just hug her and wiped her tears while watching Nathalie with her Dad. She requested that Nathan should be the one to put her medal.

"I wanna be like ate ,too" Krichelle exclaimed.

"Thank you for accepting her" Jazmine said.

"I love you" I smile widely.

"I love you too ,bi" she replied.

-End

"Love isn't about wanting that person but wanting that person to be happy no matter who they are with"

(Tadaaaaa. Ayan tapos na po. Hihi. Well, it sometimes happen in reality. Na may anak na po 'yong babae at tatanggapin parin ng lalaki. Ang mga lalaking 'yon. Sila ang tunay na mga lalaki. They can bravely accept everything that a woman can offer including their past.. Saludo ako sa mga lalaking ganon 👊)

By the way po salamat po sa lahat ng nagtiis dito sa kaetchosan ko dito. Kahit lame lng and sorry for those grammatical errors, typos and many more.
