GUESS WHO'S BACK??? I missed writing so much these past few months. I can't believe I haven't actually updated since August. Last time you guys heard from me within this story, I was just about to start college. Now I've finished my first semester, and I can honestly tell you guys, it was a terribly difficult transition. I had to put this story on hold because I needed to figure out a few things in my life and I just couldn't add to the stress I was under by trying to continue this story during that time. Things have improved a lot and now that it's winter break, I finally have some time to write again. Thank you all so much for your patience with me and I hope you enjoy the chapter! E(:
(Unedited because I wanted to post this ASAP! I also made this chapter quite a bit longer than previous chapters. Hopefully that makes up for these past months I've been on hiatus.)

Kyleigh's POV
"Ryan, look out!" I scream as a figure in the distance pulls the trigger of the gun in his hand. I super speed to push Ryan to the ground. I hear the bullet whistle right past my head as we tumble onto the concrete sidewalk. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," He answers quickly. "Go after him!"
"Right," I say, before speeding in the direction of the ANIME agent who tried to kill Ryan, though the agent has disappeared already. I notice a door to the building next to me moving slightly, as if someone had just run through it. I hurry through the door.
Where is he? I know he went this way.
I super speed all around the building, down dark hallways, opening every door and looking behind each one for the ANIME agent.
"Looking for me?" A voice calls from behind. I turn and see a shadowy figure at the other end of the hallway.
There he is.
I charge at the figure, throwing streaks of lightning in his direction. He manages to dodge each one and even jump over me and land behind me. Quickly, I face him again and send a strong gust of wind at him, throwing him through one of the doorways into a room. I follow after, tackling him and pinning his shoulders to the ground. "Gotcha!"
"Are you so sure about that?" he asks before managing to roll us over so that he is on top of me. "Nice try, Kyleigh."
As I struggle to free myself, a small streak of light shines through the window, illuminating the agent's face. I recognize him immediately.
"Ryan?! Why are you doing this?!" I ask, struggling to break free. "You said I could trust you!"
"You should've listened to Dr. Carson when he told you not to trust me," he laughs, raising his right fist in the air, before swinging it toward my face.
I wake up suddenly, breathing heavily. I startled Lily who happened to be sleeping on my pillow, but now she has moved to the other side of my bed.
Once I realize that I'm safe in my room and it was all I dream, I allow myself to relax and catch my breath. "Sorry I scared you, Lily," I say to my cat as I sit up in bed. "I just had a nightmare, that's all." I pick her up and cuddle her in my arms for a few minutes, more to calm myself down than anything. "Lily, I don't know what to think anymore," I tell the cat, as if she could make sense of the situation for me.
My 'normal' life has seemed so calm lately, and that's actually what's been concerning me. Nobody has come after me since the incident before school started. I would've bet that I'd be in constant danger after that, but as far as I have noticed, I haven't. ANIME must know that we know something. How? I have no idea, but the fact that they aren't doing anything must mean that they are actually planning something.
