Hey guys!! Sorry for taking so long to update, once again. But I have finally graduated from high school, meaning that I'll have much more free time and hopefully less stress during the summer. I will be working harder on this story and if possible, I do want to finish it before the summer ends, so we will see what happens.

Also, I finished writing Thunder exactly a year ago on May 20. Therefore, Thunder is officially 1 year old! I really want to do something to celebrate how far the book has come since then, so if you have any ideas please say them. I want to do something for you guys who have made me feel somewhat "famous" on here. One of my friends said that we should do a livestream where we read a part of my book live with funny commentary or something like that. Whatever I do, I want to do something for all of you who have made my first finished book gain over 36 thousand views in one year.

My TimeHop also informed me that I posted the Prologue of this story exactly a year ago today (June 4). It's taking me forever to write this book, oops... Although it almost seems appropriate that I post this chapter on the prologue's "birthday" considering... well, I'll let you guys figure it out.

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing now so you guys can read the new chapter. This is one of the chapters I've been looking forward to writing ever since I started Lighting (a year ago). Enjoy!!

Kyleigh's POV

"He's what?" I ask in surprise. I thought I'd never have to see him again, or at least not this soon. "He's supposed to be in prison; why is he here?!"

"We got him out of prison temporarily for interrogation purposes," Tatsuya answers.

"How did you get him here?"

"We have our ways here," Dr. Carson responds. "Tats and I decided that it would be best for you to talk with him."

"Me?!"

"Yes. After all, you know what answers you need to get. Plus, Tats and I both agree that it's time for you to gain some real experience."

"And you think I should start getting 'real experience' by facing the man whose only goal all summer was to find out who I am?"

The red head girl speaks for the first time. "Don't worry. He is secured to a chair inside of this room. He won't be able to hurt you." I nod my head slowly. "I'm Camri, by the way."

"Hi," I respond.

"Besides," Tatsuya continues what Camri was saying, "you have powers and weeks of training behind you now. He has nothing. You'll be perfectly fine."

After a moment of everyone waiting for me to respond, I say, "I need a minute... and a drink of water." I walk quickly away from the others. Once I turn the corner, I superspeed away to the lounge area where I happen to find Vita. She jumps slightly in surprise at my sudden appearance. I pick up a cup on the counter, fill it with water from the sink, and quickly drink it.

"Are you doing alright, Kyleigh?" Vita asks, concerned.

I set the cup beside the sink and take a deep breath. "Yeah, I think I was just taken a bit by surprise."

"Oh? What happened?"

"Andrew is here for interrogation and Dr. Carson wants me to interrogate him. I don't know... I'm not sure if I'm ready to see his face again after being nearly killed by him a few weeks ago."

"Andrew is here already? I didn't know they took care of that so quickly..." Vita says, more to herself than to me. Looking my way, she continues, "You're a strong girl, Kyleigh. If Dr. C thinks you're ready to face Andrew, then I'm sure you can do it."
