Hello everyone!! It's been far too long yet again and this chapter is kind of short. To be honest, my life has been really crazy and it seems like it never settles down. As much as I love writing this story, it's almost impossible to find time to write it. But since this is a project I've been working on for a few years now and I'm finally nearing it's end, I promise I will complete the story. For any of you who have actually stuck with me this far, I thank you sincerely for your patience. Without further ado, enjoy chapter 21 StormClouds!!

Kyleigh's POV:
The world suddenly snaps into focus, but before I can take it in, my head begins throbbing with a massive headache, and the back of my neck has a numb, tingling feeling. The pain subsides rather quickly though, and I look around. I'm in the middle of M.U.F.F.I.N.S. Headquarters and nearly all of the agents are in the room staring at me. I see Ellie sitting on a bench in the company of Camri. How did we get here? This isn't the first time I've had a weird blackout moment like this in the past couple days, but I still don't know what is happening in those moments I can't remember. The last thing I do remember is being locked in the prison cell. No, that's not true. I remember Ryan. Just a quick flicker of a vision. Maybe that was a dream. I have no way to know.
Tatsuya is the first to approach me. "Kyleigh! You're awake." He leads me over to the bench next to Ellie where he helps me sit down.
"Uh... yeah..." I say as I'm still processing what is going on. "How long have we been here?"
"Not very long," Tats replies. "About five minutes or so. The two of you entered through the back and were just standing in a trance in here. Ellie snapped out of it just before you did. Do you know what happened?"
"Not really... but they did something to us when we were there."
Tosh comes over to us. "I just called Dr. C. He's on his way down." He smiles at Ellie and I. "It's good to have you two back."
The door opens and Dr. Carson rushes out of it. To my complete surprise, Ryan accompanies him.
"Ryan?!" I question, before quickly running to him and embracing him in a hug. I have so many questions to ask him, but I know that it is going to have to wait.
"Dr. Carson, how long were we gone?"
"Six days." He answers. He looks over to the bench where Ellie is and then back at me. "Where's Vita?"
I sigh. "I'm sorry to tell you, but Vita is evil. She was a double agent for ANIME."
"What?" he asks shocked. "She's been with us for two years. There's no way..."
"I hate to burst your bubble, dear Matthew, but Kyleigh is correct," the all too familiar voice calls as Vita enters through the back door.
The moment I recognize her, I want to run. Whatever she has been doing to me is bound to happen again, but it's too late. The moment her name comes out of her mouth, I'm frozen in place, falling back into the trance I just came out of. I lose all sense of consciousness, my mind basically shuts off. I don't know who any of these people before me are. Except for the blonde woman getting closer. Behind her, another woman approaches, a chestnut brown haired woman. Following her, other people begin trickling through the entrance.
"Camri! Close the doors!" The man with black hair in front of me shouts to someone else. "Vita, what have you done?"
"I've just been following my orders, Matthew," the blonde woman responds. "I'd like you to meet my real boss. Abigale!"
The chestnut haired woman steps closer. Chaos begins breaking out behind me as the people in the room start attacking the other people now entering the room. The woman says, "Pleased to finally make your acquaintance, Doctor. I've heard much about you and your organization, and well... I just don't like the things you're doing here."
"You're the leader of ANIME?" the doctor asks.
"Most certainly. And I'm here, because I wanted to let you know in person that you've lost. We know all of your secrets thanks to my star agent, miss Vita. And we've only got a few more business matters to attend to before we shut you down for good."
"You'll never win," the doctor says. "Kyleigh, let's put an end to this..." I recognize my name, but I don't know why he is saying it. "Kyleigh...?" He looks at me, as if he expects me to do something, but I haven't moved once.
"Oh, silly me," Abigale laughs. "Haven't you met our secret weapon?"
Confusion and a slight amount of fear enter the doctor's features.
"Kyleigh," the blonde woman says. Her voice is the only one that matters to me, so I listen to her. "I want you to attack the M.U.F.F.I.N.S. agents."
With a slight grin on my face, I proceed to follow my orders. I move away from the small crowd, and look around at the chaos around me. I mostly know which agents are M.U.F.F.I.N.S. agents. I don't remember many of their names, but I have a sense of familiarity toward these ones. These are the ones I'm fighting against.
I choose my first opponent, a man with cat ears and a tail. He's preoccupied, so I figure I can sneak in for an attack, but I underestimate his ability. I throw a bolt of lightning his way that he notices, even while fighting someone else, and with quick agility, he ducks, avoiding my shot. I run at him, moving quickly and swinging my arm toward his head. He blocks my punch with his arm, but at the same time, I swing my right leg around colliding with his ankles, and I manage to knock him to the ground. I'm about to go in for another punch, but I'm suddenly yanked backwards by a different agent. I turn around and begin going after my new competitor, swinging my fists at him, using my speed to fire punches rapidly.
My battling is cut short short when I hear the blonde woman calling for me. "Kyleigh, come here!" I hurry toward her and await orders. "Kyleigh, follow and protect me." She walks down a hallway. I have no idea where she's going, but I do as I'm told.
