loren's pov

i spent that night at claire's house even though it was a school night.

i told my parents i would be at zach's house. they trusted zach and let me sleepover any day at his house.

i rode my penny board to her house even though i knew it would take a while.

"you know loren," claire says, "a lot of boys at school would love to date you."

"yeah loren," carmen adds, "like if you just got rid of that ponytail and changed your look, all the guys would wanna be yours."

"i don't know yet if i'm exactly ready for a boyfriend.." i start to say.

"you've never had a boyfriend?" claire asks.

"well-umm." i say but get cut off by carmen.

"don't worry loren, we'll find a guy that likes you." carmen says.

"or is there any guy your interested in?" claire adds, smirking.

"well," i say smiling. "there's this boy name jonas,"

"wait." claire says, "who's this jonas kid?"

"well i don't know exactly who he is, but i met him in the hallways." i say.

"do you know where he was going?" carmen asks.

"not exactly." i say looking down.

"whatever, forget about him, he's basically a loser if we haven't heard about him." claire says. "but we'll find a good boyfriend for you."

loren's confession

once we stopped talking about boys, it reminded me of blake.

it just came back to me.

his smile on the first day.

how he offered for me to sit at his table.

getting in trouble with him in class by talking.

it all came back to me.

even though i kinda ditched him,

i won't forget him.

even though i only met him a couple days ago.
