"zachary reed clayton, you are on the edge of losing your girlfriend." loren tells me as soon as i walk in her house.
"what do you mean? i think ariel and i have a good thing going."
"i'm not supposed to be telling you this, but ariel texted me about considering to break up with you." she says directly. "she thinks that you don't care about her."
"what have i done to make her think that i don't care about her?"
"well first of all; you sit next to blake and mario everyday at lunch, instead of ariel, second of all; you have only tools her on one date and how long have you been dating? A COUPLE MONTHS!!!! and last of all; you never text her."
"okay, okay, i'll take her on a date." i say. "let me just text her about it."
"NO!" loren says right after i stop talking, also slapping my phone out of my hand.
i give her the 'are you out of your mind?' look.
"you have to talk to her in the real life." loren says instructing me like i'm a kindergartener learning the alphabet.
