before school

i was on this new app called 'musical.ly,' before the bus came to my house.

it wasn't like any other social media apps i had. it was like lip sync battle but on your own phone.

i made a musical.ly, posted it, and went downstairs, and then out the door.

at lunch

"hey guys." i say, taking my usual seat at lunch next to arii and mario.

everybody smiled or grinned, while waiting for me to say something.

"well i found this cool social media app called 'musical.ly,' and i thought it would be cool if my best friends tried it too." i said.

"i guess i'll download it." arii says pulling out her phone from her backpack.

"sounds cool." mario says pulling out his phone too.

"anybody else wanna download the app?" i ask.

"weston and i don't really do social media." kalynn says. "except for instagram, snapchat and twitter. and weston has tried younow."

"i never did." weston says.

"you don't think i can hear you from your room?" kalynn asks.

weston was stuck now.

"okay, okay, i'll try it." nathan says, breaking the silence.
