  "loren i've been waiting for this moment since the first week i met you. i've waited since you left and went out with joey and waited for you to come back and we could make everything the same it was before. now i think that it's time." i say. "would you take the honor and be my girlfriend?"

dreams aren't real

i told myself everyday that one day i'll find a girl that loves me, nobody else cared as much to inspire me.

i want loren to be my first girlfriend, it would be special.

after school

i got ready to take my usual walk with loren on tuesdays. i would walk with her to her house and then i'd go to zach's house for a while.

  "hey." i said, tapping her shoulder.

  "hey blake." she exclaims.

  "sooo, i had this whole entire speech but i think you might find it cheesy and stuff so, i was wondering if you would-want to go on a date with me?" i question.

  "blake," loren begins to say but zach, of course, has to but in.

  "you coming to my house later?" he asks being his usual goofy self. "my mom's ordering pizza."

  "um, yeah." i say.

  "cool! can i walk with you guys?" he asks with a huge smile on his face.

loren looks at me and i nod.

  "cool beans!" zach says and puts his around loren and i, being in the middle.

loren said goodbye and disappeared after closing the door. i did a slight wave.

  "c'mon blakey boy." zach says. "let's goooo."

once we get into zach's house he starts to act serious.

  "blake, you can't just ask out loren at the end of the day at school when your all sweaty from gym." zach says and puts both of his hands on my shoulders and looks straight into my eyes. "look, loren has been my best friend since-forever, i know that she likes flowers, animals, cute things, and you. be yourself, but don't do a lame thing like that."

  "wow. i think i might have to call you zach the love expert now."
