brody's pov

loren and i agreed on going to the cafe on the first floor of the apartments. probably a cup of coffee and pastries.

jay was with me inside my room getting ready for my date with loren. they'd spent so much time together that he was able to tell me everything she liked and disliked.

loren's pov

the date was pretty good, considering the only ones i've been on was with joey.

but brody was different. both joey and brody were funny, but brody seemed special, in not a bad way, a good way.

he wasn't fully mature unlike the boys at my school, being all inappropriate. he wasn't one of those boys who just wanted their girlfriend because they were pretty, he wanted to take her out somewhere because he thought she was sweet.

nathan's pov

wes9, zach, blakey, kalynn, and i started hanging out a lot more together ever since ariel and arii switched lunch tables.

ariel and i would occasionally talk if we had a class together, but it wasn't the same. ever since mario and loren left, our group sort of split.

with mario and loren gone, that left us as a piece of paper that was ripped into to halves. mario and loren were the glue to fix it.

mario was best friends with basically everyone, and loren had known zach for most of her life. it just all went together.

but it was going to be different now,
