Chapter 13 - Ang Scarlet

As expected, the moment I got home after my 'date' with Noah, the news about our relationship spread like a wildfire. Kalat na kalat rin ang mga pictures namin sa social media. Natatawa ako dahil nagchecheck ako ngayon ng mga accounts ko.

My facebook account is private, but I have a fan page. Nagulat ako dahil tumaas ng libo-libo ang mga likes ng page at followers ko instagram at twitter. There were lots of tags and comments.

Out of curiosity ay binasa ko ang isang article sa facebook mula sa isang teen magazine. It was entitled, #Nori Is Confirmed!

I laughed. The title was just so corny. I went on.

"Celebrity Chef and one of the most sought after bachelor in our country, Noah De Ville is finally in a relationship with a former beauty queen and now a well known designer, Geri Tiocson. An insider confirmed it. (Sorry girls! Our Noah's taken, I know, I know, I'm crying too.) The two were spotted earlier in Shangri-La Plaza on a date, and take note ladies, they aren't afraid to PDA! Oh jeez, as you can see on the pictures the two just looked inseparable. Cute! We'll watch out more of #NoRi, I'm sure you guys can't get enough! Any shippers here of #NoRi?"

Napatawa ako ng malakas. Jeez. Ang bilis talagang kumalat ngayon ng balita lalo na sa social media. May it be legit or not. Nagbasa ako ng mga comments at natutuwa ako sa iba na sumusuporta at natatawa naman talaga ako ng malakas dahil sa ibang haters na hindi matanggap na taken na si Noah. Gusto ko sanang magcomment na, "Sorry ladies, he's mine."

Instead of doing that, umandar na naman ang kapilyahan ko. I browse my photos and clicked the favorite one that I took. It was Noah who was putting the black single strapped Jimmy Choo heels that he chose on my feet.

Masyado lang akong naamaze sa kanya dahil nakaluhod siya at sinusuotan ako ng sapatos. It was so corny and passé but man, was it so romantic.

I didn't use any filter and went straight to caption it with, "Love of my life." Nakangisi kong ni-tap ang post bar sa gilid at ilang minuto lang ay inulan na iyon ng comments at likes. Tumawa na lamang ako at inilock na ang phone ko.

I'm enjoying this puclicity.

Days were fast, ni hindi ko na namalayan na halos tatlong linggo na ang nakalipas. Masyado rin akong naging busy dahil sa isang araw na ang fashion show ko at puro finishing touches nalang ang ginagawa namin. The whole week, isinarado muna namin ang shop dahil busy nga kami.

And of course as expected, the day after Noah and I's relationship were publicized, Fabs flew from Palawan to Manila just for the juicy details which of course just caused him a disappointment when he learned that it was all for publicity.

Ngayon naman ay sinusuri ko ay kauna-unahang suit na ginawa ko na nasa hanger na ngayon dahil ilang sandali lang ay darating na si Noah para i-fit ito. The suit is very confidential kaya nasa opisina ko ito. I want to see Noah wearing it all by myself. Yep, just me. For now.

Nagbeep ang phone ko kaya ni-check ko iyon. It was from Noah.

Have you eaten lunch? I bought some pizzas for everyone.

Nakangiti akong nagtype.

How nice of you. Nasan ka na?

Binaba ko ang phone ko at pinadaan ko ng aking mga kamay ang malambot na tela ng suit. I can't wait to see Noah wearing this. The excitement is killing me. My phone beeped again.

Upon reading his text, halos lumipad ako palabas ng opisina ko. I can't quite differentiate if I'm excited to see him wear my suit or I'm excited just to see him.
