— I found you again—
You walk quietly by the park near your apartment, hands tucked behind you. You were wearing the thickest of clothes you have just to make yourself warm and apparently, it's making you walk a bit slow since it is quite heavy.
The cold misty wind blew on your face.
"Ah why is it so cold?"
You mumble to yourself as you continue walking down the icy path. You were enjoying this time alone. All the stress at work and at home had made you literally bonkers.
Your peace was soon disturbed when you bumped into somebody. The both of you fell butt first.
"I'm Sorry!"
You both blurted at the same time.
The two of you share a laugh.
You were quick to get up so you move over to help the guy up. To your surprise, it was your ex-boyfriend, Jung Hoseok.
You look at each other in shock. You retrieve your hand as he refuses to take it anyway.
"Hey"
He mutter looking at you in awe.
"Hey there."
You reply.
"How have you been?"
He asks and you stare down a bit flustered. You were still so completely inlove with him despite being the one to end the relationship.
"Not okay"
You had to be honest. The 2 years without him was miserable. You.were unhappy and completely grumpy at times.
Not wanting to turn on the akward atmosphere higher, you wipe away the tears that were forming in your eyes and beamed.
"How about you? How have you been lately? You've been looking more handsome than ever"
You say in a polite manner.
He gives a small smile.
"I miss you."
He suddenly says out of nowhere not even bothering to answer your question
"Hoseok i've hurt you.."
You trailed looking into his chesnut eyes.
"No Y/N. I deserved what you did before. I was very selfish and stupid. I lost the best gift i've ever received in my life. Now that i found you again, i wont let you go. Please Y/N, give me another shot. I'll make every single moment we share unforgettable and worth it."
He says as he holds your hand tightly. You were completely stunned at his statement. You smiled and looked him in the eye.
"I should be the one saying those things, Hoseok. Nonetheless though, i'd take you back any day you want me to. I missed every single bit of you. Living without you was hell and i still hate myself for letting you go that night. I need you. I still love you."
You croak. Hoseok's smile was the most sincere smile you've ever seen. He was the happiest at that moment and it made you happy too.
"So are we back on track?"
He asks raising a brow up. You smile and nod.
He let's out a childish laughter and hugs you tight. You were quick enough to hug him back.
The two of you walk hand in hand back to your apartment. You both stare at each other for a minute, You hear your neighbors counting down til the 25th so you glance down to your wristwatch. You look at Hoseok and he does the same. The two of you countdown waiting for Christmas day.

"Merry Christ—"
You were cut off by Hoseok's sweet lips. After 2 years of yearning, Your Christmas kiss was again taken by Hoseok.
"Merry Christmas, beautiful."
He soon whispers as you both part.
"Merry Christmas, Hoseok"
And the two of you soon walk inside. You can't wait to tell anyone, what Santa gave you back.
