"Y/N?"
Her manager walks in, a clipboard on his hand and headphones dangling around his neck. Today was Y/N's first performance as an artist. She had always been behind the scenes as she started off as a songwriter. Her heart was beating quicker by minute as she clutched on to her mic.
"The show's gonna start in 5 minutes, be ready"
He says before walking out. Y/N was terrified. She fumbled quickly looking for her phone. She dials her boyfriends number quick enough with shaking fingers
"Baby? I'm on my way"
Namjoon starts off, he had his wireless ear piece on as he drove off to the venue. He promised to be there to watch his girlfriend perform and he in fact kept the promise.
"I don't wanna do this"
She whispers, starting to tear up. She was nervous, she never knew what her crow looked like. She was too afraid they may not like her or what she could give them.
"Baby, stop it. You're gonna do this, because you can. You dreamed of doing this for so long, why give up now?"
She sighs, looking at her toes.
"I don't know. What if they don't like me?"
"Then why did they buy tickets to the show if they did? Baby, i'll be there to cheer you even if no one else does. So please just get ready? I'm near. Your manager texted me and asked me to make you go out already"
She finally cracks a small smile and nods although knowing he wont see it.
"I love you"
She replies.
"I love you too, now go!"
He says, ending the call.
She puts down her phone, exhaling heavily before nodding to herself that she was ready- she hoped.

Namjoon was escorted quickly to the seat up close by bodyguards to lessen the casualties, some people were throwing themselves at him. He appreciated them, but, all he wanted was to watch the love of his life perform.
The beat soon plays and with her charismatic charms, she walks out with a smile. She sings the first verse perfectly, scanning the room to see if her boyfriend was there. When her eyes weren't able to find him, she started to panic. She felt her mouth dry up, thhroat almost closing, and then she just stops. The beat continues and she just stand still in front of a thousand of people. She was about to cry. When Namjoon noticed what was going on, he quickly stood up swimming out of the crowd. He jumped in behind the booth asking the DJ to play a different song grabbing a mic himself. The lights go out and the crowd was no confused. Y/N starts to cry and was about to walk off stage when the song was played. It was different.
Namjoon starts to rap, standing beside the stage near the stairs, the lights go on.
It was the first song Y/N had ever composed for him; it was a duet. They never released a recording of it with them singing it together but she made him sing it with someone else. This was the first time she was ever going to sing this song with him.
Namjoon's rap ends and he nods to her signaling her to start, she brings the mic up to her lips and starts to sing. The crowd was silent. She then closed her eyes, not wanting to see what happens next and just continues singing the song. She and Namjoon completed the song, without Namjoon having to go up the stage. When the some comes to an end, the crowd erupts with screams and claps. They were astonished. She slowly opens her eyes and sees a thousand phones up in the air with flashlights open. This was it, this was her dream.
She looks over to her boyfriend whose hands were clapping together.
"Thank you"
She mouths
He smiles, winking at her in the process. She then continues the show and performs her heart out with no worry. When the show ends, she quickly gets off the stage, running into her boyfriend's arms.
"I'm so proud of you"
He says, placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"I couldn't have done it without you though, thanks for saving me"
"I'd do anything for you, baby. Never forget that"
And with that, they go home together with Y/N feeling relieved and contented knowing that she has her Number one fan who will always be there to support her, and even save her.
