Feelings [ Namjoon ]

Sitting across a beautiful scenery, you breathe out softly. You had been silently sitting on the park bench for a good hour now yet your bestfriend still hasn't showed up.

You can still clearly remember to months back when you were both sprawled happily on the floor of the flat you both shared, playing random songs whilst taking random quick shots of beer.

But for some reason, he has been so distant. He had been neglecting you everytime he has the chance to and it bothered you. You lived under the same roof yet you never speak to each other. What did you do?

Namjoon has never neglected you. He barely shared eye contact. What has happened? You sigh and bury your face into your hands and let the wind blow your thoughts away.

Namjoon on the other hand was currently seated on his older friend, Seokjin's bed, chin resting on his fist. All his other friends where also surrounding him, probably busy with something stupid.

"You're an idiot"

Seokjin blurts out making Namjoon look at him, shocked.

"I agree, you literally just ignored her for the past 2 months & never told her why"

Another friend of his, Yoongi says as he throws the ball in his hand to the air catching it swiftly.

Namjoon sighs and falls back to the bed.

"Why did you even ignore her?"

Jungkook, a friend of his who was about 3 year younger than him asks as he leans on the wall behind him

"He likes her but he doesn't know how to confess"

Jimin, another boy replies.

Hoseok groans

"Oh my god, Namjoon. You're a 10 year old boy!"

He exclaims and throws a sock sat him which he successfully dodges & edges up hitting Taehyung.

"What are you planning now?"

Seokjin follows up looking at the boy. As Namjoon was silently thinking, Taehyung, his younger friend. Jumps up and quickly shakes his friend.

"You need to do something now or you might lose her for good"

He speaks as he hands Namjoon his phone which he had been playing with for the past hour.

Namjoon's eyes widen as he sees 5 unread messages for you asking him to meet you at the park.

He scrambles quickly, surprising everyone else. As he runs out the door, the boys scream again.

"What are you going to do?"

He slips out a shout before shutting the door closed

"I'm going to tell her i love her!"

The boys laugh.

Namjoon sprints around their town hoping he'd see you sooner & thankfully he did.

He brushed his shirt straight before walking to your spot. He takes a deep breathe & taps your shoulder

You look up and your eyes instantly widen at the sight of him.

He was almost out of breathe & sweat was sliding down his forehead.

"N-namjoon?"

You stutter as you back away a bit.

"Cecilia, look i'm soㅡ"

Before he could even continue, you start sobbing.

Namjoon was caught off guard.

"I-i'm sorry! Whatever I did. I'm so sorry please stop ignoring me. I'll change just tell me whatㅡ"

He cuts you off with a tight hug making you cry harder.

"No, Cecilia. You shouldn't say sorry. None of this is your fault, all of it is my fault. I should've talked to you about it, instead of neglecting you. Look, I like youㅡ no, I love you. I've always have. The past 2 months had been hell for me. Not being able to talk to you or even do stuff with you, broke me. I know this may ruin our friendship but I know I couldn't keep this to myself forever. So yeah, i'm sorry if I hurt you"

He speaks. Slowly, you everything sink in.

He loves you?

You were sitting infront of him, motionless. Tears were streaming down your face & you couldn't say a word.

"Cecilia? Please say something"

He says, snapping you out.

You wipe your tears away and hold both of his hands in yours.

"I love you too, Joon. I've always loved you. I thought i was being obvious but I guess I wasn't obvious enough"

You say and his eyes light up.

"Y-you do?"

You nod and a smile immediately appears on his face.

Without any hesitation, he pulls you into a hug.

"I promise, I won't hurt you anymore. I love you so much"

He whispers and pulls away.

He then places a palm on your cheek & leans in, kissing you passionately.
