Social Parties. A place filled with people who are dressed fancy, regardless of the financial status, a place where everyone looks & smells filthy rich.
She sits on the bar stool, looking at how her friends make their ways to dance floor. It was half past midnight and all she wanted was to go home, but, sadly, her ride home was dancing her ass off under the illuminating disco ball.
She sighs and raises a finger, asking for a drink. A tall boy, slightly older than her, wearing this white button down & a black apron tied around his waist.
He seemed to be as painfully tired as she, the only difference was, he was actually tired, she was only socially drained.
"How may I help you?"
He asks her in the fakest enthusiastic tone she could ever hear. She laughs, shaking her head.
"Drop the fake enthusiasm, i know you're tired, I just need water"
The man laughs along and nods. He clinks the glass onto the pitchers as he pours her lemon water.
"You are in a prestigious bar, wearing a luxurious jumpsuit & you get water to get you through the night"
He states, handing her the wine glass filled with a non-alcoholic drink.
She chuckles before taking a quick sip
"Hey, don't judge. I was forced to come here"
She states, the guy raises both his hands up in defeat plastering a smile on his face.
"Does this cost anything?"
She asks, titling the glass a little, asking the bartender.
"Mhm"
He hums before wiping the table.
"How much?"
She starts to fish her purse for some cash. He smiles, placing his elbow on the table and his chin on his palm.
"Your name."
She looks back at him and she sees him look back at her. She grins, looking down in embarassment.
"Y/N"
She says, standing up from the tall stool.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N. I'm Seokjin"
He winks before turning his back at her. He quickly unties his apron and hops over the counter onto her side.
"So, I'm guessing you're tired of trying to pretend you like these people"
He asks her and she nods
"And i'm hoping you'd rather spend the night driving around with me?"
He asks, leaning closer to her. She grins, trying not to look at him, hiding the blush.
"That would be nice."
She whispers back making him grin. He wastes no time, grabbing her arm and dragging her out to the parking lot.
She was amused when he stops infront of a huge motorcycle, such eye candy. She never really thought someone as soft as Jin would drive a huge badass bike.
"You drive this?!"
She exclaims, looking at him wide-eyed.
"Almost every single day, yes. Why, is there a problem?"
He asks, wearing his helmet & taking out another one, giving it to her.
"No, I just never really thought a guy like you would drive something like this"
She replies, placing on the helmet.
"Well, I guess I just broke your bartender stereotype"
He chuckles before hopping on.
She shakes her head in amusement before riding on herself.
Thank God, I wore a jumpsuit.
She thought to herself.
He soon starts the engine & the he leans a little forward to adjust the mirrors.
"You ready?"
He asks, turning his head to the side.
"Ready"
She say, and with that, they were off.
The sound of the motorbike filling the night, and the wind blowing towards them made her feel so alive. As they go further, the speed increases, her heartbeat quickens along & her grip around his waist tightened. Everytime it did, Seokjin chuckled quietly. He thought it was the cutest.
They pull up on a quiet park, it was not too far from her place, but not too near either. It was surrounded by alot of tall buildings that threw off illumination with different colours. The stars seemed to helping out that night too as they all twinkled for them. Seokjin hops off of the vehicle, and turning to help her. She gets down and swiftly takes the helmet off in the process.
"What are we doing here?"
She questions, turning around to see Seokjin dusting his shirt.
"Nothing, really. This is where I usually drive off to when I need some time to breathe"
He speaks with a grin
She nods quietly, walking over to the bench & sitting down.
He follows quickly & sits down right next to her. He looks at her, and sees how she was gazing at the night sky. It was a sea full of stars that night. She noticed how the stars twinkled & left a glare of light on her face, and it made him see how beautiful she actually was.
She had no make up, to start it off. She always wanted the natural look, it made her feel light.
She soon felt that the gaze of the young man was towards her & she turns to look back
"Why are you staring at me?"
She asks, calmy, leaning a bit back to relax.
"Because you're beautiful. I enjoy looking at beautiful people"
He tells her as he places an arm on the back of the bench.
"Oh my god, aren't you cheesy"
She says, giggling softly looking back up.
"Don't you ever wonder how many stars are actually up there?"
She asks, suddenly
"No, but I would love to know. If I had super flying powers, I'd fly out to the galaxy and I would count them myself"
He replies, leaning back himself. She chuckles. She takes a quick glance at him before moving a little close, placing her head on his shoulder.
He noticeably tensed up as she did but soon relaxed and placed his arm around her
"Thank you for this, Seokjin"
She quietly speaks as he nods
"No worries, Y/N."
He replies shortly & they fall silent.
And that was when he knew this was the start of something new for the both of them.
