[ Rant ] i'm triggered.

Okay so, i'm here to rant for now but I promise in a couple of hours i'll publish a new imagine. I'm currently editing it so please wait a while.

Alright, i'll be speaking on behalf of all my friends & especially my cousin who just told me a certain story which triggered everything i'm about to rant about. I cannot speak about this for myself because my mom & step dad are COMPLETELY supportive of my fangirl life. My mom even comes to concerts with me to take videos for me [ and the fact that I am still a minor and I am stupid haha ] but that's not the point right now.

I have been a Kpop Fan for almost 8 years now, and in those 8 years, i've heard nothing else but

"They're gay, they wear makeup"

"Why do you listen to this? You don't even understand it."

And I honestly DO NOT understand why people give so much shit about somebody else's musical taste.

Okay, earlier today, I have been talking to my cousin about BTS and more so about the concert tomorrow. She's just a new ARMY (and more groups to come) and we've come across about a certain topic about her mom learning about her new interest. She then told me that when her mom found out about her being a KPOP fan and about her liking BTS' Content, her mom told her that she was disgusted, and this triggered me.

Growing up, our parents would teach us good morals & proper behaviour, not just parents in particular, Adults in general aswell, would normally teach us to respect other people. They would teach us not to judge people based on their looks. They would tell us not to mame fun of other peoples' race, but what are they doing?

I simply do not get their point when they would tell their children that KPOP is disgusting and that Korean men who put powder on their faces are gay. What happened to the respect?

Kpop is just another form of music, nothing's wrong with it. Just because they speak a language you don't understand doesn't mean they are weird. Just because they apply make up on their faces, does not mean they are gay. Korean Men, Kpop Idols, Korean Actors are human too. They are normal people like us, they aren't perfect. You may not like the way they deliver music but that DOES NOT give you the right to insult them. Now, I am speaking to Every Anti / Hater in general. STOP IT & GROW UP.

Every human has their own style and taste, so you shouldn't give a damn about it when they don't give a damn about yours.

And to the parents, I wont be telling you to like KPOP, but please give them respect, or AT LEAST, just shut your mouth. If you have nothing good to say, just leave your mouth closed. I may sound rude, trust me i'm not a rude person, it's simply the right thing to do.

You taught us not to insult people without knowing them completely so I hope you grown ups become the BEST example for us Young ones to follow.
