Be my valentine? [ Taehyung ]

The day you always despised.

You walk along the couple filled hallways of your high school, You couldn't help but cringe.

You meet the metallic door of your locker, you sigh.

Finally

You twist in your code and the door swings open.

A white rose greeted you.

Woah

You drew a small smile on your face and your cheeks tints red but it all turns dull again when you took a glance at all the couples behind you.

Who could've given you this? You shrugged everything off and grabbed your books and took the rose with you, slamming your door shut.

You drag yourself lazily towards your classroom, and to your seat. Surprisingly, a sunflower and a java chip frappuccino- your favourite drink was on top of your desk.

This time, you were really curious. You placed both flowers on top of your lap.

Lecture starts and you happily sip your drink, still thinking of this mystery person. What if this wasn't for you? What was this person thinking? Is this all a joke?

You thought about every possible reason without even realizing the lecture was over. The bell rings and you snap out of your thoughts.

You finish your drink quickly and shove everything in your bag, holding the flowers and quickly leave the room, but as soon as you step out the door, a tulip with a note saying was dropped infront of you.

You picked it up and raised an eyebrow.

"What the hell?"

You mumbled. You shrugged it off yet again and headed to the cafeteria, the hallways and corners were strangely cleared. No teachers yelling, no coupls kissing and no freshmen running. Upon reaching the cafeteria, you noticed that it was locked. There as another note stuck to it.

'Y/N! if you're reading this- follow the other notes until you reach the end. Goodluck! I love you'

Your cheeks tint red. You decided to play along anyway.

You walk along the empty hallways and read notes.

'Hey beautiful, are you Skippy? Because you make my heart skippy a beat. Proceed to the pool area'

The first note read and a bottle of Skippy peanut butter was below it. You burst out laughing. You grab the note and the bottle before searching for the next one.

You spot the green sticky note stuck on top of a blue box.

'You're close Y/N. Wow, you sure did grow tall. A minute ago you were in my heart, but now you're also on my mind. Head to the door exiting to the garden!'

Very sly and cheesy. You smile and grab the box. On your way, you open the box and you spot a pair of sneakers just your size. You couldn't help but beam. You can't help but feel lucky. Out of a hundred girls in this school, it was you.

You reach the door and another note & a marker was stuck to the door.

'I'm so proud of you, beautiful. You've reached the end. Now, grab the marker and proceed to the garden.'

Now you were shaking. You've never been so nervous in your life ever. You soon twist the doorknob and flashing lights & pink balloons surprise you as a slow jam plays. You see all your professors and friends- literally the whole school was there standing infront of you.

As soon as you take a step, a guitar plays a very familiar song.

Wise men say
Only fools rush in
but i can't help
Falling inlove with you.

A deep voice sings, the crowd hums along and as you reach the middle, the curtains open revealing a bubbly Kim Taehyung holding a mic and a bouquet of tulips. You gasp, Taehyung, your childhood crush and bestfriend is standing infront of you and the whole school, singing this song for you.

Take my hand

He sings as he offers his hand that you gladly take.

Take my whole life too

And he pulls you close to him making you hold on to his shoulder to keep balance.

Cause I can't help, falling in love with you

He end and the crowd cheers. You look into his eyes and he looks into yours. You can see the sparkle in it making you smile. You step back a bit away from him not letting go of his hand.

"Y/N"

He speaks and his voice booms through the speakers. You smile and he does too.

"You knock me right off of my feet. You give me happiness, you're the reason for my every smile. You complete me."

He says making the crowd 'aw'

"So please, my beautiful princess-"

He starts handing you over a clean folder.

"Will you be my valentine? Forever?"

He asks and you look at him- shocked.

You look down at the folder and wrote your response slowly.

You raise it up to your chest sending fireworks to Taehyung's heart.

Your card read

'I'd love to'

Taehyun pulls you into a tight hug. You peak at the audience and you could see them clapping and giving the two of you looks of approval. You part and place a hand on the back of his neck. He whispers and i love you before crashing his lips on to yours.

Maybe February 14 wasn't so bad after all.
