— Christmas Companion —

It was December 24th. People are singing their carols, wrapping up and ripping their presents, cooking up good food to eat and so much more that are extremely fun.

On the other hand, you sat alone in one empty bench in a well-lit park near your apartment.

It was your first time spending Christmas away from your family since you needed to take your masterals overseas.

You sigh and continue playing with your now dry hands.

It was utterly cold outside, but you didn't care at all.

"Hey"

A very low voice greeted you.

You look up and you see a boy same as your age looking down at you with a very friendly smile.

"Hello"

You reply and give him a small smile.

"What are you doing here at Christmas Eve? Shouldn't you be celebrating Christmas with your family?"

He asks and takes a seat beside you. You scoot away a bit to give him more space

"My family's in the US, and I have no one else to celebrate Christmas with. So might as well stay here alone."

You say and he nods his head.

"What about your boyfriend?"

He asks again

You chuckle and lean back.

"What makes you think I have a boyfriend?"

You say and he looks at you rather surprised.

"It's just that you're so beautiful, I didn't expect you to be single"

He replies and leans back aswell.

"Well, this beautiful girl you say is single and she is accompanied by this kind and very handsome man she just met. Oh and this beautiful girl's name is Y/N"

You jokingly say looking at him. He bursts out laughing and shakes your hand.

"Well, beautiful single Y/N, this kind handsome man you speak of is called Taehyung And this kind handsome Taehyung happens to be single as well."

He tells you smirking a bit.

You giggle and holding his hand swiftly.

"Well then I guess this beautiful Y/N and this Handsome Taehyung should celebrate Christmas together since they're both single"

He cackles.

Minute by minute you find yourself falling for this man you just met. There's just something in him that pulls you to him. It feels like you were really in line to meet.

"This handsome Taehyung also thinks that the beautiful Y/N is perfect for him and is wondering if he could take her out to have dinner with him this Christmas Eve"

He suggests and stand up hoping you'd agree. Thankfully, you did.

"The beautiful Y/N says yes."

He rejoices and offers his arm and you gladly take it.

You both find a restaurant and ended up having Christmas dinner there.

You both share stories and just let the time pass.

You find out alot about him and him about you. You two shared thousands and thousands in common, like the love for dogs and snow.

The Christmas dinner ended nicely. Taehyung was kind enough to pay for the bill. You insisted to pay for it at first but he didn't budge.

You soon walk out of the resto hand in hand. You didn't know where he might take you or what he might do to you but for some reason you didn't mind.

"It's almost midnight, y'know?"

He says and stops his tracks and lets your hand go, and you do to.

"Mhm. It is. Do you have to go?"

You ask a bit softly.

"What? No! Of course not."

He says and waves his hands in the air, you chuckle.

The atmosphere grows cold and colder by the second. You couldn't keep everything inside of you anymore. So you decided to tell him your feelings anyway.

"Listen, Taehyung. I don't know if i should be saying this right now since we just met about an hour ago but I like you. I really do, and if you don't feel the same way it's totally fine, i just wanted to—"

Taehyung shuts you up with a sweet and magical kiss. You feel him smile against your lips.

The two of you enjoy that specific moment that night knowing that you won't forget it.

"I like you too."

He whispers against your ear as soon as you part, and after he does, little icy flakes flutter down.

You smile widely and hug him tight.

"It is a very merry chrismas indeed."

You tell him and he lets out a light laugh.

"I agree."

He ends and pulls you back into his arms.

Best. Present. Ever.

WRITING AN IMAGINE STARRING MY SEMI-EX-BIAS IS REALLY DIFFICULT. TAEHYUNG IS PULLING ME BACK TO HIM. LIKE WHAT HE DID WHEN I TRIED TO SWAP LANES AND RUN TO JUNGKOOK. I DUNNO ANYMORE.
