A familiar black mist appeared, and I looked up at Mee-Yon with terrified eyes. She rushed over to me. "What happened?" She asked, looking down at the unconscious Sehun.

"I don't know." I began. "He was crying because he was having a bad dream, so I came in to see if he was okay, and when he woke up he started talking about a monster. Mee-Yon, his eyes glowed blue, like when the guys use their abilities. How could he have powers if he isn't a vampire yet?" I asked, holding Sehun close to me.

Mee-Yon looked at me sadly. "I told you that you could only stay in the past for so long, remember?" She began, and I nodded. "This is one of the side effects. Time is trying to balance itself out. You came from the future, so someone from the past temporarily took your place. He probably only went ahead ten-err, twelve years or so. That's when everything started happening."

"What do you mean, what started happening?" I asked, and I could feel myself shaking, scared.

"That's when I fell in love." She said, and at the same moment, Miss Kim entered the room. I froze, and glanced between Mee-Yon and Miss Kim. She didn't even care that a strange woman was in the room with me, it was as if she didn't even see...wait. I looked up at Mee-Yon in confusion. "Don't worry, you are the only one who can see me or hear me. But what you do they can see, now quit looking at me, she'll think you're crazy." She said, and I quickly looked back at Miss Kim.

"Are everything alright, Miss?" She asked, seeing that I was cradling Sehun in my arms.

I cleared my throat, trying to calm myself before I spoke, afraid that my voice would give away that everything was not alright. "Yes, he just had a bad dream. I managed to calm him down, and he fell back asleep in my arms." I replied, and Miss Kim gave me a nod, then left the room, but not before glancing back at me, suspicious. She didn't believe me.

"I'll explain tonight, but you have to work on traveling short distances in time before I can tell you everything." Mee-Yon said, then disappeared into a cloud of black mist, teleporting away to who knows where.

With a sigh, I laid Sehun back in his bed, tucking him in, then left his room just as Xiumin exited his.

"Good morning, Miss Khristine." He said with a smile. "Did Sehun have another nightmare?" He asked.

"Yes." I said, and gave him a small nod. "Does he ever tell you about the nightmares?" I asked, realizing that Xiumin must have been th he one to comfort him the previous times.

"He only told me about one, it was after breakfast about a week ago, and even I got scared. He went on and on about a monster from the future, that is was chasing his." Xiumin explained. "That's all he was able to say before Kris walked in, and he ran off somewhere and I didn't see him again until lunch."

I sighed. "This dream was the same." I told him, and he nodded. "Anyways, if he tells you anything, can you please come and tell me?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Yes, of course." Xiumin replied. "Well, I'm going to the study for a bit. I'll see you at breakfast." He said.

"Okay, I will see you then." I called after him. "Oh, by the way, your parents arrived home earlier this morning."

Xiumin's face lit up. "Thank you for letting me know." He said, then left, heading down the stairs.

Once he was gone, I sighed, and made my way to my room. I was too tired to walk around, but breakfast would be ready soon, so I couldn't go to sleep. As I entered my room, I decided just to practice manipulating time. If I ever wanted to get back to my time, to Tao and the others, I had to regain my strength.

Hesitant, I sat down at my desk and placed my hand on a stack of the yellowed parchment, then slide the top few pieces off of the desk, watching them fall to the floor. Once they landed, I held out my hand, taking a deep breath, and felt the power flow through me. Watching the papers, I saw them rise up off the floor, but they only hovered there for a second before falling back down.
