I sat on the sofa in the bedroom, the girls asleep in my arms, nodding off myself when I felt a light kiss on my forehead. I opened my eyes to see Tao taking a seat beside me, carefully transferring Hari to his arms, trying his best to not wake her up. "Luhan wanted everyone to go down to the library. Apparenty he found out why Tori couldn't activate her power and why she couldn't lead us to the black pearl." He whispered. "I thought you'd want to go since you been watching these two all day. Give you a break."

I smiled. "Okay." I whispered in reply. "Are you sure you'll be okay without me?" I asked, remembering the first time he had watched the girls when I was gone with the girls to buy more clothes since we were only expecting one baby, not two. Things didn't go as well as he had hoped they would.

Tao nodded. "I'll be fine. Don't worry." He replied. With a smile and a nod, I handed over Hyemi, then stood with a yawn.

"I'll fill you in on what Luhan found when I get back." I said, giving him a quick kiss, then made my way from the room.

Kris stepped out of his room just as I exited mine, and he gave me a smile. "Long time no see." He said, walking by my side as we went downstairs. "How are the little ones doing?"

"Great." I smiled. "They are already so big. I remember watching In-soo grow, but it feels like the girls are already bigger than he was at their age. They are growing too fast."

"Yeah." Kris nodded. "It's weird to think about, actually. In-soo was born only ten months ago, but he's already grown up to look like he's a twelve year old."

I nodded, letting out a sigh. "About that..." I began. "Do you think he'll just keep growing? What if he keeps getting older and older?"

Kris shook his head. "The book said that he'll stop aging eventually. Once he does, he'll stay that age forever."

"Yeah, but when will he stop aging? He's already twelve, what if he ages until he's thirty or something."

Kris laughed at that. "That would be a sight to see. He'd be older than his dad and all his uncles."

I shook my head, unable to keep from laughing. It would be interesting to see that. "That would be seriously strange." I said, but then my thoughts tirned to the girls. When would they stop aging?

"Hey, let's not worry about that right now. We have Suho to worry about." He said, and I realized we were right outside of the study. Kris pat my shoulder, then with a nod opened the study door. I followed him inside, and saw that everyone else had already gathered, even Tori was there despite it being two in the morning, but then again, she was curled into a ball on one of the chairs, nodding off to Sehun's amusement.

"Good, everyone's here." Luhan said from where he stood behind the desk, and flipped open a small, black book. "So, while I was looking through the book where we found the spell that summoned Tori, I noticed that there was a reference at the end to another book. Luckily, I managed to find it after some searching, and I realized why Tori's powers weren't activated when we first met her." He began, and Tori perked up at the sound of her name, all sleepiness washed away.

"What does it say?" She asked, standing from where she sat to look at the book.

Luhan pointed to the section he had found, and Tori read to herself as he spoke. "This book says that there was originally two family lines that protected the black pearl. One could hide the pearl when needed, and the other could bring it to light. Tori's family line hid it, and the other could eventually be used to retrieve it."

"What's the other family line?" I asked, wondering if we could find someone who belonged to it.

"That's the problem..." Luhan trailed off. "Apparently the line ended around 1830."
