"Why does he blame you for his son's death?" I asked, confused.

"I'll tell you when we get inside. We don't have much time. I need to tell my brothers so they can prepare." She said, and stepped past me, heading up to the front door.

"Wait, I don't know if it's a good idea to go inside or not." I said, worried how her brothers would react when they saw her. I had reached her just as she opened the front door, and everyone's eyes snapped to her. I froze, waiting for someone to move, for someone to try and attack her. Nobody moved, and we all were motionless for so long my legs started hurting.

There was a sigh, and Tao stood, making his way over to us. As he grew closer, a smile appeared on his lips, and he hugged Mee-Yon. I let out a relieved breath, and Mee-Yon did the same.

"Its been way too long." Tao smiled. "How have you been?" He asked.

"I hadn't been doing very well since my daughter passed away, but meeting Khristi really helped me get back to normal." She replied.

Tao glanced over at me, then back to Mee-Yon. "Yeah, Khristi has really helped a lot, more than anyone knows." He smiled. "So, about why you're here..." He began, his face turning serious.

"Mr. Choi. He blames me for JiHyun's death." She began, and I heard some of the guys muttering to themselves at the mention of Mee-Yon's late husband.

"Why? He's the one who killed him." Tao began, and his brothers grew quiet, the information new to them.

"He thinks that if I hadn't married him, JiHyun would have lived. I mean, he's not wrong, but..." she trailed off.

Jungkook stood from where he sat on the sofa, and the sound of movement caught everyone's attention. He walked over to us, his eyes a bright gold. Without any warning, he pulled Mee-Yon into a hug.

Most of the guys jumped to their feet, some worried about Jungkook's actions, and the others worried how Mee-Yon would react to the sudden contact with a stranger. I watched, surprised, as Mee-Yon wrapped her arms around Jungkook's waist, hugging him back. After a few seconds, they pulled apart, and Mee-Yon smiled. "Thanks."

Jungkook smiled. "No problem. It's nice seeing you again." I glanced over at him as he spoke, shocked.

"What?" Luhan asked, just as confused as the rest of us.

Jungkook, Jimin, Namjoon, and the others all looked at one another, then around at the guys. Namjoon was the one who spoke. "She was the one who saved our lives. She freed us from being some crazy vampire girl's slaves. Once we were turned, she helped us escape and taught us how to live as normally as we could, how to control our hunger and our powers. We owe her our lives." He explained.

"I'm still confused. You knew our sister the entire time and didn't think to tell us?" Suho asked, looking between my cousin and his roommates.

"I told them not to." Mee-Yon answered, and everyone went silent again. "I know you hate me, but hating them would have made Khristi suffer even more than she already has. She's been through enough because of our family, and pushing away what little family she had left would be the best possible way to get her to leave you guys."

While she was speaking, my focus was on Jimin, and he was looking back at me with a saddened look on his face. I didn't have to say anything for him to know what I was thinking, for him to know how I feeling. It was the one word Namjoon has said that was causing my heart to ache.

Suho rushed over to me, a hand on his chest, a worried look on his face. He could feel the pain in my heart. Why didn't he tell me about how he was tired into a vampire?
