I had set the table in the morning in complete silence. Suho had come down to help, but I shooed him back to bed. He was still weak from being "dead" for so long, and he needed to save what strength he had for the fight that was fast approaching. When I finished with the table, I sat in my seat, staring at my plate as the others slowly started to wake up, and I tried not to think about how mad the guy's would be when they realized their keys were missing.

Mee-Yon ended up staying with me in the study, and we looked for anything I could use in the fight other than her key. There were a few spells, and we spent about an hour practicing them until we both fell asleep on the floor in front of the desk. Tao must have come in while I was asleep, because I woke up with a blanket draped over me. Mee-Yon, however, was gone when I got up, and I couldn't find her anywhere.

"What's wrong?" A voice sounded, and I looked up to see Lay in the doorway.

"I, uh..." I said, remembering how I had spelled him earlier, guilt flooding my mind. "Sorry, I'm just worrying about Daehyun's attack."

Lay nodded. "I know, it's stressing all of us out. I couldn't sleep at all last night. I kept waking up feeling like something was about to happen." He said, sitting down in Chen's chair beside me. "I'm assuming you didn't either. You look exhausted."

I nodded. "I stayed up looking for spells to use in the fight. I ended up passing out on the floor in the study."

"Yeah?" Lay asked, sounding like he wanted to ask something, and I looked over to see his face turning a light pink. He quickly stood, looking away from me, and cleared his throat. "Well, I'll go wake up the guys for you." He said, and left the dining room in a hurry.

"What was that about?" Mee-Yon asked from behind me, and I turned to see her looking as exhausted as I felt.

"Oh, well, I might have woken him up last night while I was grabbing his key. I think he remembers." I explained.

"Makes sense. He probably thinks it was a dream and feels weird about it. Dreaming about his sister-in-law would make him a bit awkward." She said, and sat down where he had been sitting moments before. "Now, about why I'm here. I am going to take the blame for the missing keys."

"What, why?" I asked, and she gave me a reassuring smile.

"I made them, so I know what they look like, plus I'd know where to find them. I'm the perfect candidate to take the blame. I'll just tell them I took them because I'm worried that they'd break in the battle. That if they were to break, they'd die or something, so I put them all somewhere safe for the time being. They can't argue with me, because I know more about the keys than they do." She explained, and I nodded, she was right.

"Okay." I said with a nod. "Thank you. I don't know how I would have explained to the guys why their keys were missing."

"I couldn't leave you here to deal with this mess alone. After everything you've done for this family, I owe you far more than you realize."

"This is our family, I'd do anything to keep everyone safe." I replied.

"Hey, Khristi-" Suho began as he entered the dining room, but stopped when he saw Mee-Yon and I together. "Oh, I didn't know you were still here. Didn't you go home with Jimin and them?"

Mee-Yon, giving me a small smile, as if to tell me everything would be okay, then stood from her chair and turned to her brother. "I did." She said simply,  then glanced to me. "Want help waking up the guys?"

I looked from her over to Suho, who just gave me a shrug. "I guess." I replied, and she disappeared in black mist, teleporting off somewhere.

"Is it just me, or is she acting weird?" Suho asked as I stood, making my way to the door and into the hallway with him.
