Khristi's P.O.V
I looked at the letter again, trying to figure out how to get the guy's keys. I can't just ask them for it since they'd start asking questions, and I had no idea what they looked like, so I couldn't steal them even if I wanted to.
Tossing the letter to the ground in front of me, the red envelope landing atop the other letters I had been rereading all morning. I sighed, glancing at the calender on the floor to me right, my stomach twisted into nervous knots. The next full moon was in a week. Would we even have time to get ready to fight Daehyun? Kai, Sehun, Tori, and Suho were gone, and Tao, Insoo, Mee-Yon, and I were exhausted because of the girls, and everyone but me was completely unaware of what was to come.
I picked up the letters, looking over them again, knowing I couldn't just show the guys. Some of the information on the pages had to stay a secret.
"You could just show them the pieces you want. Only show them what they need to see." A woman said, and I looked over to the blue eyed, masked woman sitting on the floor with me. "I mean, you have to read the letters in the basement just to keep them a secret. That kind of sucks."
"Well, I can't let them know about gathering their keys, or Ravi, or about whatever it is Jisung needs me to come in contact with. They'd be too suspicious, they'd never let me do this." I exained, and he nodded.
"I know, but they are just being cautious. They just want to protect you. I mean, they gave up being human ever again just to keep you safe." She said, laying down on the cold ground, staring up at the ceiling.
"What?" I asked, not sure I knew what she meant by that.
"Really? You can't remember that?" She sighed. "You can cure them, remember?"
"I can?"
She nodded. "Only the same power who placed the curse can remove it. Mee-Yon can't do it because her power changed since the day she turned them into vampires in 1848. You on the other hand, your powers now are exactly the same as hers were then."
"Not really, I still can't fly like Kris. I am still missing that one power." I reminded.
"Don't worry, it'll come to you soon." She said, then glanced to her left, and I saw the two girls fading into view, overlapping into my reality as well. It was the first time I had seen them since I received the last letter weeks ago.
"Hey." I said, not really glancing up at them as the sat down by the masked woman.
"H-Hi." One of them replied, her voice straining, catching my full attention. I glanced up to see the two of them were fighting back tears.
"What's wrong? What happened since last time we talked?" I asked, and the masked woman sat up from the floor.
"I guess I should explain, since this is possibly the last time you'll see them." She sighed, and the girls looked at her in shock. "What? If I tell her, you can finally explain everything to her." The girls glanced at one another, then to me, and gave small nods.
"Okay, how to explain this without messing up the timeline we need to occur..." the blue eyes woman began. "About nine months ago, evil rose up and conquered our world, vampires ruled over by a demon, humans almost completely eradicated. The girls were left without their parents and, as their aunt, I took them in, since I was the closest living family member. You following me?" She asked, and I nodded, glancing at the girls, who just looked away from me when our eyes met. Something was familiar about their eyes now that I was actually looking.
