I slowly turned to face him, seeing someone unfamiliar grinning back at me. They were scarred and bruised, and it took a second to realize that it really was Daehyun.
"Shocked?" He asked. "This is what happens when you are trapped in a crumbling mind. I have you to thank for that." He spat, his pure white eyes burning angrily.
A split second later, the fight began, and I dodged shots of fire and ice, lightning and earth, all coming out of the mist where the guy's fought Daehyun's minions. Then there were the white orbs that he was shooting at me, which I knew were used to steal powers. He had used it on Jimin once, taking his sight, and he was trying to take something from me.
A scared scream came from my left, and I recognized it as In-soo. Turning from Daehyun, I took in a deep breath, then blew out, the stream of air magnified, pushing away the mist, clearing the room, revealing just how many of us were in the living room.
Still dodging attacks, I looked to the stairs, seeing In-soo running down them with the twins, a man in black chasing after them. "In-soo, get out of here." I yelled, afraid that one of them would get hurt.
"I got them." Mee-Yon said, rushing over to them, teleporting away. I let out a sigh of relief, knowing they'd be safe with her.
Suddenly the wind was knocked out of me as something slammed into my back, and I fell to the floor, something landing on top of me.
"Sorry." Lay breathed, stiffly rolling off of me, and I gasped for air as I got to my feet. "Watch out." He shouted, pulling me towards him as Daehyun attacked again. Lay held me to his chest a little too long, and awkwardly let me go. "Be careful." He reminded me, then returned to fighting across the room.
"You're always getting in the way of things." Daehyun growled at me, lunging for me, and I dodged him, causing him to run into one of his men, the two falling to the ground.
I bumped into Kris, who pulled me down with him, dodging a pinch that would have hit me. "Careful." He said, pushing me away from his fight.
It was too crowded. I had to get somewhere more open, otherwise I couldn't fight without hurting one of the guys in the process. I turned, making sure Daehyun saw me heading down the hall, and quickly made my way outside. As I did so, I could smell fire, the mansion burning, just like in my visions.
"Running away, girlie?" A voice sounded, and I saw a blonde girl standing there with a sick smile. "Wow, I'm disappointed. I thought you'd at least stuck around to see Daehyun kill your husband."
Anger flared up in me when I realized who she was, and I sent a pulse through the air, causing her to go flying. She corrected herself in the air and landed easily on her feet.
"Ooh, your feisty. I like that." She smiled, then rushed at me. Before I could blink, she was only inches from me, her fist making contact with my stomach, and I went flying this time, landing among the thorns of the rose bushes. I gasped as I landed, and I felt the slices in my skin sting as dirt entered them. "You're not that strong though." Caroline said, looking down at me as if studying a broken toy. "You're no fun, so why did Ravi run off to you? You're not as pretty as me, or as strong..." she said, trying to figure it out.
"I think it's because I'm not as much of a bitch as you." I growled, clawing my fingers into to the ground, and the bushes groaned, growing and reaching out for her, taking the blonde in their grips.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" She asked as I lifted her into the air, and yelped as the thorns dug into her porcelain skin.
"Making you an easy target." I replied, just as Chanyeol ran from the mansion. "Chanyeol." I called out to him. "Look what I caught."
