Rory:

"How ya doing Ace?" Logan asked, as he stood next to me holding my hand.

"Better since the epidural." I said with a smile.

It was right after midnight, and Dr. Song was back to check again. Since I had gotten the epidural I had lost most of the feeling in my lower half. "Well Rory, It looks like we have reached ten centimeters. I just get our delivery team in here, and then you can start pushing."

Mom woke up to those words. "I guess no time for coffee, huh?" She said with a smile.

"Nope. I'll be right back." Dr. Song replied and then walked out of the room.

"So, I guess this is really happening." I said, looking up at Logan.

"The nine months of being pregnant weren't enough to tell ya that Ace?" Logan said with a chuckle.

"Well, yeah, of course. But, it's happening now. She's coming now." I said a little nervous about what I was about to do. After all its not like I have a baby everyday.

Mom came to stand on the other side of me, and she rested her hand on my shoulder. "You're gonna do great hun. We are right here."

"Okay everyone! Let's have a baby." Dr. Song said, waltzing back in with the delivery team.

Dr. Song instructed me to move down the table again, and my feet were placed in the stirrups. She sat in front of me, and once we were all ready she said, "Okay Rory, now push."

I pushed as hard as I could, once, twice, three time. Logan held me hand, and with his free hand pushed the hair out of my face.

"You're doing great Ace." Logan said and kissed me on the forehead.

"Yes, Rory, you're almost there. Now just give me one more big push on the count of three, okay? And one...two...three." Dr. Song said.

I pushed even harder then the previous ones, and then fell back against the bed as I heard her cry for the first time. There she was, our little girl.

"You have a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations." Dr. Song said, lifting her so I could see her, before they moved her over to the warmer to be cleaned.

I looked up at Logan, who was beaming down at me. I was so tired, I could probably use a cup of coffee right now, but I knew I couldn't. "You did great Ace. I love you so much." He said, tears of pure joy filling his eyes, he leaned down, took my face in his hands and kissed me hard, right there. Right now, who cared who saw.

He pulled away, resting his forehead against mine, giving me a chance to speak, "I didn't do great, we did great. Now go over there and see her."

He pulled away from me, and walked over to where she was being swaddled and then I saw them hand her to Logan. He looked...right. He walked back over to where I was still on the delivery bed.

"Rory, she's perfect." Mom said, looking at the beautiful baby girl, swaddled in a pink receiving blanket. "You did amazing hun, better than me." She continued with a smile and a wink.

"Thanks Mom." I said.

"Now, you haven't said anything about her name. So what is it?" She said with a laugh.

I looked up at Logan and our new little girl. I hadn't had a chance to actually tell him that I also though that was the name I thought we should go with. The look on his face showed just as much curiosity as mom's question.

"Her name is Sandra Aurora Gilmore-Huntzberger." I said with a smile as Logan set our beautiful new daughter in my arms.
