Logan:
I turned the key in the lock and swung the door open. It was quiet and then I heard the elevator slide open behind me.
"LOGAN!" Mitchum shouted as he marched toward me.
"Father." I said casually.
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?! ODETTE SAYS YOU CALLED OF YOU ENGAGEMENT! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" He continued shouting.
"If you'll just come inside we can talk about this like civilized adults." I said moved out of the way.
"CIVILIZED ADULTS DON'T JUST CALL OFF THEIR ENGAGEMENTS AND SKIP TOWN! YOU ARE GOING TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF AND THEN GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WORK. THEN YOUR GOING TO CALL ODETTE AND TELL HER YOU MADE A MISTAKE AND TELL HER YOU WANT TO GET BACK TOGETHER!" He kept on going.
"No. I'm not dad." I said calmly moving over to the bar. I was gonna need a drink for the shit storm that was coming.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO! YOUR ARE GOING --" He started before I cut him off.
"Rory's pregnant." I said and then downed the Scotch that I poured.
That stopped him. This would have to go on record. Mitchum Huntzberger speechless.
"What do you mean Rory is pregnant?" He asked
"I mean Rory is pregnant...and it's mine." I replied.
"WHEN DID YOU HAVE TIME TO DO THAT! AFTER I SAW YOU TWO TOGETHER AT LUNCH I CALLED ODETTE AND TOLD HER IT WAS TIME TO MOVE IN." He said shouting again.
"YOU DID WHAT?!" I said shouting back this time.
"I had her move in. I figured it wasn't a coincidence that you and Gilmore had just run into each other, and I figured if I had Odette move in you would have to stop." He continued more calmly. "But no. Instead you go to her and get her pregnant, with an illegitimate child nonetheless."
I didn't say anything. I just poured another Scotch...and waited.
"Now I have to fix your mess--" He started.
"No. You will not go near Rory, unless your willing to accept this. I will not let you humiliate her like Mom and Grandpa did all those years ago. However I will come back to work for you and keep working to take over the family business because I know that's my duty to this family. But, I will not apologize for being with the woman that I love when you are constantly having affairs, and don't think that mom doesn't notice." I said to him cutting him off. "You are going to have a grandchild in nine months time so either you get on board with this or you will miss out on the opportunity to know he or she at all." I finished and waited.
He gave no answer. Instead he just turned and headed for the door and said, "I'll see you at work." Then he walked out.

Rory:
It had been a week since Logan went back to London. He called me after the confrontation with Mitchum. He told me that it went as well as it could of. He was back at work and that was going well. But his father had mentioned anything else about me or the baby.
I sat by the window watching the snow lightly fall. Mom had woken me in the middle of the night, just like every other year, so we could experience the first snow together. I sipped my coffee and took another bite out of my pop-tart. Logan would be back tomorrow and then all would be right in the world again.
"Rory?" Luke said tentatively. He was still having a hard time accepting what he had heard. But he was coming around.
"Yeah Luke." I said turning in his direction."
"Um...How are you feeling?" He asked.
"Um...I'm okay. You know you don't have to worry about...this? Right?" I answered.
"Yeah...I just feel like...you know...Can I get you anything?" He asked.
"I'm okay." I said holding up my mug.
"That better be decaf!" He said pointing to the cup, sounding more like Luke. "You don't need to pass on yours and your moms coffee addiction.
"It's decaf." I said smiling.
He eyed me one more time the turned and walked away. I stared back out the window watching the snow fall a little bit more.
"Hey kid. When does Logan get back?" Mom asked walking into the living room.
"Tomorrow." I responded. Mom was starting to come around to the idea of him being back in the picture.
"Do you want me to hold a room. So you guys can be alone." She asked winking.
"Mom!" I said back at her question.
"What?! I remember what pregnancy hormones were like. However, I was sixteen and didn't have anyone around to help out in that department." She said back.
"And I say again...Mom!" I said laughing.
"Sure. But just because I don't know how Luke would respond to Logan." I said accepting the offer.
"Well, it's not like you could get pregnant." She said and ran out of the room before I could throw a pillow at her.
I finished off my coffee and then Logan's ringtone announced his call. "Hey."
"Hey Ace." He said. His happy tone filling the space around me.
"Everything okay on your side of the pond?" I asked.
"Yeah. Just finishing up some last minute things then I'm on the redeye to you. Just checking in to see how things are going there." He said and I could here him typing away at his computer.
"Everything's fine here. Luke's starting to come around, and mom is holding a room for us at the Inn." I said setting my mug in the sink. "Oh and the snow started last night."
"Good to know. Let me guess, Lorelai dragged you out in it." He asked.
"It's her thing." I responded
"Yeah. I know." He said and I could hear his smile. "Hey Ace. I got another call coming in that I have to take so I'll see you in the morning."
"See ya then." I said back.
"Love you Ace." He said before jumping off the phone.
"Love you too." Then I hung up the phone.
