We were back in the waiting room, waiting to be seen by Doctor Song. We had started seeing a new doctor at our twelve week appointment since it be to difficult to travel to Hartford for doctor visits. We were now seeing Doctor Song was a petite Asian woman in what looked to be her mid-forties.

I was now sixteen weeks along in my pregnancy and it was time for the big reveal. We ere about to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. In the past couple we had managed to tell everybody important in our lives that we were having a baby and everyone was excited about it. I had told Paris, Lane, and my father Christopher. Logan had gone out with Finn, Collin and Robert and told them, they had thought he was joking at first. Then he called and told Hounor, who was overjoyed about having a new niece or nephew to spoil. I remember how she burst into the loft after she found out.

"Rory!" Hounor squealed with joy.

"Hi Hounor." I said calmly from the couch working on my latest freelance piece.

"Logan just told me! I can't believe he did it over the phone while at work. Last I knew he was still with Odette." She said sitting next to me. "So happy that he's not with her anymore."

"No one told you?" I asked her slightly shocked.

"I'm so busy these days, nothing really gets back to me." She said.

Hounor and Josh were still together, almost eleven years now, and had two beautiful children. One was five and in kindergarten and the other was three. From what I could tell Hounor was a great mother, much better than Shera.

"How are your kids?" I asked setting my laptop to the side.

"They're good. Brayden is doing well in his class and Sophia is home with the nanny right now. But I just had to rush right over after Logan told me! How are you doing?" She asked.

"Good." I started. "My morning sickness has subsided now that I'm out of the first trimester and the doctor says the baby is healthy and right on track."

"That's great. Any idea what you're having yet?" She asked excited.

"No...not yet. They still say it's a little to early." I replied.

"Oh poo. I was hoping to start shopping." She said with a laugh. "OMG! Has anyone offered to throw a baby shower yet?"

"Well...my mom is probably planning it. But I'm sure she wouldn't mind your input. If you want I can give you her number and you can give her a call." I told her.

"That would be great. I'm so excited." She said looking at her watch. "I have an appointment to get to. But we'll talk soon."

"Okay. Sounds good." I said hugging her.

She walked to the door and opened it. But turned around before walking through and said, "Hey Rory."

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I'm really glad you're back." She said with a smile.

"I am to." I replied and she walked out, the door closing behind her.

I had mom on one side of me and Logan on the other. He picked up my hand and kissed the back of it.

"Rory Gilmore?" A nurse called from the doorway.

"Here." I said standing.

I walked through the open door with Logan and mom following closely behind. We walked through the hallway, past the nurses area and then into a decently sized patient room. The nurse told us that the doctor would be in shortly and then she left.

"You excited?" Mom asked sitting on one of the plastic chairs.

"Kind of nervous." I responded.

"Everything's gonna be fine Ace." Logan said smiling at me. How was he always so calm?

"Yeah kid. It's not like you have an alien in there or anything." Mom said.

"Well it still kind of looks that way at this point according to the research I've done." I said.

"Good morning." Doctor Song said walking into the room. "How are we today?"

"Good." I said. "And you?"

"Busy. Lot's of appointments today. Anyway let's get to it. Ready to see your baby?" She said with a kind smile.

"Yep." I said and squeezed Logan's hand before laying back on the table.

Doctor Song got the lights and then squeezed some goop onto the ultrasound reader. Mom walked over and stood up by my head so she could have a good view of the screen. While Logan was on my opposite side.

"Rory if you could please pull your top up and push the top of your pants down. This is gonna be a little cold." I did as she asked and then she placed the reader on my belly.

"Strong heartbeat." She said as I laid there, now clutching Logan's hand and he rubbed his thumb back and forth over the back of my hand. "It looks like your right on track. Now would you like to know the sex of your baby?" She asked.

"We did decide that we wanted to know." I said looking up at Logan and he kissed me on the forehead.

"Yes. We would like to know." He said agreeing.

"Okay. If you'll give me just...one more...second." Doctor Song said moving the reader around a little more. I looked over at my mom who smiled down at me, and then I looked back at the screen.

"You are having...a girl." The doctor said pointing at the black and white fuzz. I looked at the screen and could make out the baby's shape.

A girl. We were having a girl. I smiled looking at the image. It still seemed so surreal. Then, Logan said from over my shoulder with a smile, "Another Gilmore Girl."
