Karissa's POV- 3 weeks later

"Karissaaaaa." Alexis walked in my room.

"Yes." I looked up from my phone at her.

"You know your birthday is tomorrow." she smiled.

"Yeah?" I gave her a curious look.

"What are we gonna do to celebrate?" she grabbed my smoothie and sipped it.

"I don't know. I really don't wanna celebrate. And who died, lied and told you it was ok to drink my shit?" I raised an eyebrow.

She laughed. "Shut up. You'll be ok."

"I don't even feel like I'm turning 23. I haven't even started on what I wanna do in life." I sat back and sighed.

"Well, we are close to our goal money wise. We could get the building, but we have to furnish and decorate it, plus there's getting all the money together to actually create the clothes." she said.

"Yeah, that too." I fake smiled.

"You know I can see right through that." she rolled her eyes.

"So." I hit her with a pillow.

"Stop before I whoop you." she laughed.

"Bae!"  I heard August downstairs.

"Uh oh." Alexis ran out into her room. I shook my head and waited for August to come to my room.

"I know you heard me calling you." he took off this jacket and sat next me.

"Yeah, I did." I smiled.

"You answer me when I call you. Understood?" he stood up and looked down at me.

"And if I don't?" I rolled my eyes.

"That attitude gone get you fucked up. You ain't got this dick yet so you don't know how to act." he got closer to me.

"What you doing..." I hesitated.

"You know what time it is." he got even closer.

"Karissa, what you want for lunch?" Alexis walked in.

"Give us a minute, Alexis. Please, ma'am." August said, still staring at me.

"Umm, ok." Alexis said with a strange look. She backed away and closed the door. It got quiet for a minute.
