Karissa's POV

Life has been depressing the last 6 months. I've been in the house not doing anything but crying and barely eating. I haven't even really talked to August since he went on tour. He begged me to go along but I wouldn't I didn't because I didn't want to ruin his experience. I don't even really answer his phone calls.

"Bae." I heard him come in the house. He finally made it back.

"Auggie." I turned over.

"You been crying." he walked in and picked me up.

"Yes." I wiped my face.

"I'm happy to see you. It was killing me being away from you for 4 months." he kissed all over my face.

"I missed you." I smiled, something I hadn't did in weeks.

"There that beautiful smile is." he smiled back.

"August." I said as he put me down.

"Yes, bae?" he took off his jacket and put laid it on my bed.

"Have you checked on Miracle?" I showed him a picture from her Instagram. She was nine months.

"No, actually. I should call her." he looked at his phone.

"August." I smiled and hugged him.

"You seem extra happy." he looked down at me.

"I am." I let go and jumped on the bed.

"Karissa!" Alexis walked in.

"August." she smiled and hugged him.

"Hey Alexis." he kissed her cheek.

"Karissa. Darian and I wanna tell you something." she pulled him into the room.

"Yeah?" I looked at her curiously.

"Promise you won't be mad." she looked guilty.

"What is it?" I smirked.

"We've been dating 2 months now." he said, grabbing her hand.

"Like everybody ain't already know." Aug laughed.

"How though?" she sat on the bed.

"The way y'all be posting each other. The way you look at each other." August smiled.

"Shut up." Alexis hit him with a pillow.

"We going shopping for Halloween Karissa. You and August should come." Darian smiled.

"I don't wanna." I pouted.

"You're going. You barely leave this damn house." August said.

"Ok." I got up and went to the shower.

"Be ready in 20 minutes." Alexis said. They all walked out.

I showered and put on a gray cropped tank top and green ripped jeans. I threw on green heels to match.

"Bae. I'm ready." I walked downstairs.

"You look good." he hugged me.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Y'all ready?" Alexis walked in.

"Yeah. Who's car we taking?" August let go and walked towards the door.

"Mine." Darian threw him the keys.

We were driving to Party City in complete silence when August started sing:

"August are you sure you ok?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah. Just needed to say that." he pulled into the parking lot.

"Oh ok." I rolled my eyes.

"Don't give me that damn attitude." he said, making us all laugh.

"Shut up." I said.

"You'll be ok. I've got a surprise for you tonight." he said, making me curious of what he was up to. He got out and opened my door.

"Yes, we're going as this." Alexis and Darian came out in lion and lioness costumes.

"That's cute." I smiled.

"What you and August doing?" she said.

"Skeletons." I held up our costumes.

"Where did he go?" she asked. They went back in and changed back into their clothes. We paid and waited by the door for August. He pulled up in the car.

"Miracle's in labor." he said.

"Let's go." We all got in and rushed to the hospital.....
