Karissa's POV

I woke up on my birthday when August jumped on my bed.

"BAE!!!!!!!!!!" I sat up and smiled at him.

"Damn. You're not usually that enthusiastic to see me. You usually some where cussing me out." he smiled.

"I know." I got up and stretched. 

"Happy birthday baby." he tried to kiss me.

"Aug, I just got up and I haven't brushed my teeth yet." I stopped.

"So." he kissed me anyway.

"Well, what you want?" I walked in my bathroom.

"I'm taking you out today. On a double date with Alexis and Antonio." he walked in behind me.

"The fuck is Antonio?" I gave him a strange look.

"A homie of mine." he said.

"Ok. How long I got to get ready?" I pulled out my shampoo and conditioner.

"About two and a half hours. You really do love me." he looked around.I had so many posters of him and pictures that it was almost covering my mirror.

"I know. I was just hell of in love with you." I smiled.

"You still are?" he grabbed me by the waist.

"Of course." I blushed.

"Well it's great to know my girl is my biggest fan." he kissed me again.

"Ok. Get out so I can get ready." I pushed him.

"Alright. Imma go do a couple things then I'll be back to pick y'all up." he walked off.

I turned on Chris Brown's song, Grass Ain't Greener (Buy and stream while you read this😜) and got in the shower. I took a long, hot shower and washed my hair. I realized I hadn't seen Alexis all morning. I wrapped a towel around myself and walked to her room. I knocked before walking in.

"Good morning." I walked in and she was in a robe doing her make-up.

"Good morning birthday girl." she hopped up and gave me a hug.

"So August told you too?" I said. She sat back down and I looked at her mirror.

"Yeah." she picked her brush back up.

"I love that mirror." It had lights all around it.

"Thanks. I got it from Bed, Bath & Beyond a while back. I decided to use it for this special occasion." she picked up a NAKED™ palette.

"Ok. I'll be in my room if you need me." I walked out.

I turned my music back on. I played August's full Testimony  album. As soon as "Kissing on my tattoos", "Porn Star", "No Love", and "I Luv This Shit" came on, I sung the full song. I flat ironed my hair, which took forever since I had a lot of hair. I had to blow it out too, so that added time. I went to pick out an outfit when August called me.

"Hello?" I held it with my shoulder while picking through my closet.

"Hey bae. You ready yet?" he said, all happy.

"Almost. Why, what's up?" I puled out a blue dress.

"Ok. Get some clothes and tell Alexis to do the same. We're going to a beach house for about 4 days. If you wanna bring someone else, let me know." I heard shuffling.

"Aight. Bye, August." I smiled.

"Bye, baby." he hung up. It meant so much to me that August took time out of his career to be with me. No one had ever treated me that way.
