In the Percy Jackson Universe, the only way to kill a giant is when a god and demigods work together. But what kind of effort needs to be put?
In Mark of Athena, Dionysus kills the twins by smacking them in the face after Percy and Jason do all the hard work. And Percy was able to kill Polybotes by throwing Terminus at him.
Which makes me wonder, can this rule be opened up to a loophole?
Like if Hephaestus and his kids forged a sword together and a demigod stabs a giant using that sword, technically, the giant was killed by the combined effort of a god and demigod.
Or if they take the statue of Terminus with them, and throw him at all the giants.
Or if Position threw a random wave during the fight so technically, he helped.
I just ruined Heroes of Olympus, didn't I?
